  1. It's not even a subject worthy of a thread. Everyone knows the score.
  2. You doing physio at northumbria? I'm year 1 Yes mate, 2nd year :-)
  3. He's pretty much killing my interest in the club. I moved back here to study Physiotherapy, live 20 min walk from St James an thought I'd be going to loads of games. Right now I just cant be bothered with any of it, total waste of time. I watch the matches on tv but the zest for going to matches has completely gone.
  4. Under the circumstances I think we're there for the taking. "Pards" has failed miserably to prepare us for this fixture recently
  5. Player departures/new signings aside this fucker better have our lot revved up for Saturday. None of the shit we've seen in the past few derbies where we've trotted about like its a ore-season match. Thing is I don't think he knows how to get them ready for games like this, always seems to balls it up.
  6. I've just completely lost interest in these transfers as the money won't be reinvested in the squad. If we did what Spurs do an reinvested it I'd be more interested but the club is on a loop in terms of player outgoings...same old shit. Stuff like this just reinforces my desire to give St James a wide berth hat the moment. Not fussed anymore.
  7. That's it in a nutshell. With a modest investment the club would be a shout of 4th. Because he's simply not arsed man! He's got his exposure with advertising around the world with premier league matches on tv. He's not going to put money into the club to take it forward, I thought that had become pretty clear by now. Europe outside the champions league is a waste of time and potential detrimental to prem status which means risking £££££££. But by the same regards he's not going to put the cash in for a genuine tilt at 4th. That's just how I see things though, doesn't mean I'm right. Club just seems to be on the same loop constantly and why would it change when you have Ashley in charge, JFK "overseeing matters" and Pardew managing.
  8. I actually think he'll go in the summer but I don't know why people would be surprised if we take a last minute massive offer and still bring nobody in. From their point of view theirs no danger of us going down and a real opportunity to cash in. They've done it before they'll do it again.
  9. I think he still has the ability to be a very good player but there's serious question marks over his fitness thesedays and also his attitude. Does he really do everything he can to get back fit as quickly as possible lifestyle wise. I'd say it's probably more along the lines of enjoying the lifestyle the absurd contract West Ham gave him. Looked set to become a local number 9 legend but as it stands the move to Liverpool and injuries looks to have stunted his career. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes on to become a journey man going from club to club with the odd purple streak coupled with months and months out.
  10. I lost interest in transfer windows a while ago. Complete waste of time following might or might nots under this regime.
  11. Serious questions need to be asked of Moyes if they lose or go out to this shower, dear oh dear. They're all over the place at the moment.
  12. Well summed up, total inconsistency. The lack of drive to start the 2nd half well when a goal up and the lack of desire coming from pardew to finish teams off at 1-0 really gets my goat. It'll always be up and down and the football in general will be poor.
  13. I've just accepted this his how it is. While he can have praise going on a decent run he always manages to undo things and I'm sorry Brett but they were woeful against West Brom. Sure we've had a decent first half of the season but that Cardiff cup loss just brings everything home to roost. Pardew is a bang average manager and the teams he puts out don't look like they have any particular style of play or zest. Ashley won't put money into the club not even to freshen things up and keep the fans interested, fews signings here and there. I'll always support the club but now it's clear the ambition is clearly to stop in the league and without even attempting to win the two cups which is our only chance of winning anything you really have to ask yourself......what's the point?
  14. Can someone remind me who this cunt has lost to in the cups while he's been here?
  15. Absolutely all of Pardews awful qualities seem to come to the fore in these games. Wouldn't be at all surprised if we ballsed it up again.
  16. I thought he just said he was generally fed up but related to the team rather than fans.
  17. That's a real hammer blow of a result for them. Poyet sounded pretty exasperated in the interview. One leg in the coffin and the other on a slippery slope.
  18. Games like today show up the frailties of the manager and the squad. A side there to be beaten but we manager to shoot ourselves in the foot and the manager does his best to keep us in the back foot. Still a decent haul so far but results like today don't really surprise me, we always struggle to put away sides that we should be beating or certainly not losing to. It's for that reason that I can still see the Mackems coming to St James to turn us over despite how shit they are.
  19. I just assume the worst that nobody is coming in because that's usually the case. January is more likely for bringing players in though and it'd be great to see another striker come in. Zero expectations though.
  20. I don't think we'd sell unless there was a super ridiculous bid in January. Thing is for his World Cup ambitions we suit him right now. He's one of the main men if not the main man and that sets him up well for the summer and a place in the French side. A move in jan might jeopardize that. He'll be gone in the summer though, no doubt about it.
  21. It was a stalemate of a match and one where we probably did enough for a point. Was a shame to concede the way we did but hey ho. Disappointing but hardly end of the world, move on to the next match
