  1. Tiote does well in games like the Arse. Need him constantly harrying their midfield
  2. He certainly looks to be recapturing some deadly form.

    Loïc Remy

Absolute nonsense about him not working hard today. Saw him tracking back a good few times and was always involved. He missed one very good chance and one absolute sitter, people need to stop reading more into it than that though.

    Loïc Remy

Exactly, just one of those things. Can see him scoring in the next few games
  5. Exactly my thoughts. Standard the way we start 2nd halfs and sit off teams. Probably won't see Remy miss chances like that the rest of the season and if you'd said 4 points from the last two games I'd have taken it. Winnable couple games on the horizon before a biggy against the Arse. Frustrating but not that bad really
  6. Great first half, same old negative defensive shit second half which almost bit us on the arse. Credit due for the 1st half but why not push on and take the game to the opposition and kill the game off. Awful tactics
  7. The last two results have been good but the manager is still rank average. I just hope today we don't do what everyone knows is very likely, go into our shells and punt long balls forward, continue to get more nervous and then concede a soft goal. I'll do a war dance in the pub if we go in a goal up and come out in the 2nd half like its a preseason match,
  8. I agree with Elliotman on HBAs Hull performance. They were all shit for the most that day but I sat in the Gallowgate bewildered at HBAs poor effort, poor control and horrific passing. Every facet of his game went to shit. I still think he's carrying too much weight so not sure what's gone on there, combo of too much weights and poor diet? Looked much leaner in recent times.
  9. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we signed that Gomis lad in jan. Has a similar feel to the Debuchy situation and our general transfer outlook.
  10. It was worrying, no doubt, still is in fact. They were absolutely terrible and we couldn't break them down. I still think we have a lot to prove on that front, Norwich/West Brom in a couple of weeks will give us a better indication to see if we have improved in this area as it's hard to tell with two home games against City/Chelsea as neither of them were content with sitting back. Hughton will set up camp and it will be down to us to break them down, it's a big test for our creativity as a side. Agree with that. Those two home games we need to show we've learnt from the Mackem defeat (don't all laugh at once). We should absolutely put Norwich away and while West Brom is a bit tougher we should win that too.
  11. Well summed up. It'd be great to have a big fucker at the back dominating in the air and scaring the shit out of the opposition.
  12. Genuinely intrigued to see what happens in this one. Exactly the type of fixture we fold in and we're due a horror show right after a good performance to keep the trend going, lol That said the players should be confident and Spurs don't seem to have really hit their stride yet so could be a decent match.
  13. You can say what you want about Poyet as a manager but in terms of likability he has absolutely none. Someone who s***s on dressing room floors is not a decent bloke. I thought it was pretty poor form that he started going on about other challenges in the match and didn't even mention Dossena's. Cattermole's was a red but given that other horrific challenge on top of that he should've shown more humility than he did. He went on the front foot too much for me.
  14. Yesterday completely nullified any steps forward they made against us. They needed to get something out of yesterday and folded spectacularly. Let's just hope a rampant City go to theirs next weekend and turn the screw.
  15. The Cabaye stuff is a non-story. It's the Ashley comments which are truly nauseating, dear oh dear.
  16. Looks much more like his old self starting to really disrupt the opposition and take control in midfield. He's still giving away a few free kicks and there's the odd sloppy pass but it's miles better.

    Papiss Cissé

Completely and utterly shot to pieces, need a striker bought in Jan
  18. We get turned over today I think it'll be getting close to the end here for him
  19. I just turn the radio down or off if I hear him speak thesedays, can't bare it. This morning I heard something along the lines of "we're confident and I'm sure the fans will be up for it".....before I could get to the volume control.
  20. Breaking teams down and creating chances is the most important thing in football so you are talking s****. We struggled, Ben arfa had another poor game, wasn't through his lack of effort, nothing paid off for him. Remy just went missing, Gouffran just ran around doing nothing. When your three forwards aren't in the game, you're going to struggle and we did but we kept the ball well and kept plugging away, after our goal went in thought we would go on to win, think our players sensed that too but got done by a very good goal on the break, it can happen. So why does this keep happening then mate? Why did it happen at St James when they turned us over? Why did we look disorganised, clueless, lacking fight? Let's look at the common denominator, the manager and coaching set up is woefully ill equipped. The players aren't blameless but I'm sorry the current set up just simply don't have a clue what they're doing and it's becoming glaringly obvious. In fact it hasn't become obvious it's been fucking obvious for months and months
  21. He can't coach his players and while it doesn't absolve them from blame many of them look like they've completely lost faith in him. That rubbish about the Mackems stopping us from playing and spoiling things, lol what was he expecting in derby at their place ffs. They went for us and the manager and players had no answer to it
  22. No he won't, because he's always been arse kisser and he's not about to get a personality transplant overnight. Or a new brain for that matter. Fair
  23. Surely yesterday will be a turning point for many with this regime.
  24. John Anderson on total sport always manages to miss the bleeding obvious with Pardew too. Always the players never the manager..........Surely after yesterday he'll be criticising this evening.
