I'll trust Carr who has already identified, Cabaye, Cisse, Debuchy, Tiote et al
-
He might start a game on the right but as Skirge said it'll probably be interchangeable with HBA if/when they play together. Don't see why it has to be rigid. Have every faith that Carr will have done his homework on the lad and we don't part with close to 10m for dogshit players. Hope he's got the pace to frighten the life out of back fours.

I like the idea of raw pace and directness with Remy on one side and HBA's skill on the other either side of Cisse

Newcastle vs. Reading - 19/01/2013 @ 3pm (not on TV) - DEFINITELY ON

What as opposed to saying "it makes no difference to us having Cabaye and Taylor back" and "the fans aren't important in matches like these" when probably asked in the press conference about returning players and the crowd factor by journalists. What else is he supposed to say ffs -
Had an awful game yesterday and seems to have lost some of the momentum he had before that brief injury because he'd been quality. Looking forward to see him start with Cabaye next sat though.

Given the circumstances this is the one time where I don't really blame him for setting us up for a point. We've been so open at the back recently conceding a flood of goals, we really needed not to get beaten yesterday. If we'd gone for it, left ourselves open and then conceded and lost it would have been a disaster the way things have been going. That said if he sets us up negatively at home against Reading or doesn't go for the kill against a Villa team almost on its knees then I'll be the first to come on here and slate him.

As s*** as we've been, confidence plays a massive role in football and the way teams play. If we pick up a couple of wins the team will start to play with a bit more freedom irrespective of how Pardew sets them up. Having Cabaye and Taylor back in the side will give us a much more resilient look too. Teams like Fulham and West Ham are stalling above us too so things can change around fairly quickly in the table. We'll have a pretty good idea of where things are going to make predications after the Reading and Villa games and come the Chelsea match because the window will be shut and we'll know where we stand with the squad. With a full side out at home and bit a confidence we'll give the good sides a proper match so that wouldn't surprise me

Massive pressure game but I think we'll win this. Cabaye back in the side should help us create chances and Reading will concede. Hoping that Taylor is back in the side which should help sure things up a bit to keep them out. The sooner we can get Obertan out the side the better too. -
This will be what swings it in our favour if he comes
-
The pace of the premier league will allows mean players take a few games to adjust. I thought he was solid for a debut.

There's some fucking ridiculous comments on here like, dear oh dear. Lets hope the dressing room doesn't have the attitude of some on here, christ. #throwthetowelin It was a crap game but our confidence has been utterly shot to pieces to the point where most of us wouldn't have been surprised if we'd lost today. Under the circumstances a point is ok. Cabaye came on and we immediately looked better with more options and that puts us in better shape for Reading. Yes we created little to nothing but I'm looking forward to seeing Marveaux linking up with Cabaye next weekend, we'll create with those two......and we didn't concede for once. Absolutely have to bring another striking option though.................oh and Obertan is still fucking wank surprise surprise

That's not a bad side apart from Williamson -
We have to hope and pray for the best regarding signings. But MA & DL have proved how utterly naive they can be and only they would roll the dice by continuing the season without strengthening.

That's almost as good as one nail in the coffin if true. Timing couldn't be worse. He couldn't leave when we're in where we are surely? End of the season is only 5 months off

Sounds very real this. Surely they can't let him go this jan though, christ. Stay til the end of the season and then go if that's what he wants.
