  1. Both are definitely beatable. Brentford will be shitting themselves
  2. Honeymoon period well over for Gerrard. Everton losing, Brentford in freefall Its getting interesting now
  3. Exactly, honestly some of the hindsight nonsense that gets spouted on here
  4. Probably true but I think the lad just needs a goal for confidence. He’s still getting used to playing with us and vice versa. Ofcourse he can do better but he’s playing his part in getting results.
  5. Giver over man, he’s moved from a team where the whole focus was around him with balls in. It’s not like he’s missed a hatful of chances . Sure he’s low on confidence but he’s working his bollocks off and providing a focal point. He’ll get a goal or two eventually.
  6. Yeah today won’t decide whether we stay up or go down (Brentford, Norwich, Burnley away + home matches) and anything is a bonus points wise If he misses Brentford away that’s a real bugger
  7. Anyone know when Tv dates are released for April? A mate is coming up for Wolves match which is currently 3pm, just checking if anyone knows when BT, sky announce new times/dates? Thanks
  8. As a member not a season ticket holder I wonder how many tickets will be made available for home matches next season
  9. 3-4. Losing Trippier for a long period would be a disaster at this stage (what with Wilson too) and I do still worry about us scoring goals. But we’ve got great spirit, St James is back to being a really difficult place to visit and we can grind out wins.
  10. There isn’t a huge amount of pressure on these games after these two wins. A point would be fine though.
  11. Yeah it’s interesting, Brentford go to Arsenal next weekend before facing us at home. Be interesting to see how the table looks before we play Brighton at home.
  12. We “might” also have Wilson back for those games
  13. A win tomorrow would be colossal but a point and a solid performance would round off a great week.
  14. It’s likely a minor calf injury but it’s a quick turnaround from Tuesday. He would be a big miss on Sunday but a greater miss if they chance it and he ends up missing several weeks. He’s vital to our hopes of staying up. Get him sorted for West Ham.
  15. haha yep just seen this. They haven’t looked that great at the back but with Coutinho defo a threat going forwards
  16. The only way is if Howe looks at Coutinho and feels matching him with ability is important and plays Bruno. Villa are a good side and will be hard to beat but the opportunity is there to really push on now and the pressure is off a tiny bit after last night. I think you’re probably right that he’ll reward the current midfield but squad rotation and matching Villa tactically might mean he starts.
  17. Outrageously good player. Standing in the Gallowgate watching that free kick go in, man
  18. Extremely worrying development. I’m not actually surprised the injury is worse than first thought but I’m surprised we didn’t bring someone else in because of that risk.
  19. Back bang in the middle of the Gallowgate for this, bring it on.
  20. They’re direct rivals for Europe, be amazed if they loan or sell him to West Ham
  21. Looks like they’re about to address that ?
