  1. Looks much more like his old self starting to really disrupt the opposition and take control in midfield. He's still giving away a few free kicks and there's the odd sloppy pass but it's miles better.

    Papiss Cissé

Completely and utterly shot to pieces, need a striker bought in Jan
  3. We get turned over today I think it'll be getting close to the end here for him
  4. I just turn the radio down or off if I hear him speak thesedays, can't bare it. This morning I heard something along the lines of "we're confident and I'm sure the fans will be up for it".....before I could get to the volume control.
  5. Breaking teams down and creating chances is the most important thing in football so you are talking s****. We struggled, Ben arfa had another poor game, wasn't through his lack of effort, nothing paid off for him. Remy just went missing, Gouffran just ran around doing nothing. When your three forwards aren't in the game, you're going to struggle and we did but we kept the ball well and kept plugging away, after our goal went in thought we would go on to win, think our players sensed that too but got done by a very good goal on the break, it can happen. So why does this keep happening then mate? Why did it happen at St James when they turned us over? Why did we look disorganised, clueless, lacking fight? Let's look at the common denominator, the manager and coaching set up is woefully ill equipped. The players aren't blameless but I'm sorry the current set up just simply don't have a clue what they're doing and it's becoming glaringly obvious. In fact it hasn't become obvious it's been fucking obvious for months and months
  6. He can't coach his players and while it doesn't absolve them from blame many of them look like they've completely lost faith in him. That rubbish about the Mackems stopping us from playing and spoiling things, lol what was he expecting in derby at their place ffs. They went for us and the manager and players had no answer to it
  7. No he won't, because he's always been arse kisser and he's not about to get a personality transplant overnight. Or a new brain for that matter. Fair
  8. Surely yesterday will be a turning point for many with this regime.
  9. John Anderson on total sport always manages to miss the bleeding obvious with Pardew too. Always the players never the manager..........Surely after yesterday he'll be criticising this evening.
  10. That perfectly sums it up mate
  11. He's killing the experience for people. Today has just resolved my opinion to sack off going to matches
  12. I agree completely, doesn't absolve him from being an utter cretin though. The whole thing is a lost cause man
  13. He's a patsy, he's complicit and he's a fucking arsehole with no backbone.
  14. I agree I've always thought he was best in that right hand pocket in a front 3. Seems to do most of his best damage from that position.
  15. Yeah you can never predict these really can you. It'll unforgivable if we were to have a man sent of given Tiote was sent off last season. They'll throw the kitchen sink at us but you'd like to think if we can weather the storm our class with Remy, Cabaye etc should see us through. Just hope Pardew has them right up for this.
  16. Considering Pardew's previous record against Poyet teams I'll be over the moon if we come away from this one without getting beat. Yeah I'm worried we don't seem to go into these matches with the right mentality. Pardews seems to bottle it and that filters down to the players. Quality wise with Cabaybe, Remy etc we "should" have them..........not confident though really.
  17. Much more like his "old self" today

    Loïc Remy

Yep genuinely quality player. Love watching him play and he's our match winner for the derby.
  19. With these decisions it's almost last roll of the dice. If he loses badly today then he's fucked IMO.
  20. Ben Arfa has been woeful the last couple of games but Pardew is always singling him out. There's plenty others who deserve some focus at the moment, like the defenders ffs And in the Chronicle Pardew excused Sissoko's poor performance because he's that type of player. Yet the same Point doesn't seem to stand for Hatem. Yeah it's the usual bollocks

  22. With the international break coming up, another poor result tomorrow and I get the feeling he might get the shove.
