It’s a weird situation. I’m sure he played just off Wilson against Fulham at home and scored? We’ve not seen that again since then I’m sure. So many times this season where he just seems too isolated. He’s still done very well despite this, but I’m sure we can get more out of him.

Wasn’t the greatest game from both sides, probably one of the worst 2-2 draws I’ve seen. Anderson was nowhere near as bad as some made out. Was sat in the West Ham end.. 2 lads were saying Maxi was our best player and hoped he didn’t come off the bench???

I’d much rather us stay at St. James’. With the investment and knowledge of the people we have backing us now, I’m sure they could work around most obstacles of expansion. If this wasn’t possible, I would reluctantly accept a move to a new ground. We’re a growing club and the size of the stadium needs to grow with it. It’s hard enough getting tickets now, but imagine in a few years (if everything goes our way) and we’re a true superpower. You’ll have new fans popping up from all over the world, aswell as here screaming for tickets. They might finally update the website with that many touts entering the ballot.

It has been a big issue for a long time. But we now have some very wealthy and well connected owners. The Reuben brothers will be playing a massive part in any sort of expansion I would think.

For me, I’d still say a LB is priority. Yes Burn has done very well lately and we have Hall to come in eventually, but we still have 1 or 2 players tracking back hard to cover Burn most games. Gordon for example is great tracking back, but I and I’m sure most others would want him at the other end of the pitch more. Hall won’t be ready for a while as much as I’d love him to be. Whatever happens, I’ve got full trust in Eddie and Dan Ashworth to get whoever we need in. Feels so weird saying that after years of horrible transfer policy by Ashley and to a certain extent Fat Fred.

With an atmosphere like the other night, you don’t need the session. I’ve been off the drink 5 weeks and Wednesday night was the best buzz I’ve had for years. 4 hour drive home was fuck all with that grin on my face.

He’s been about, just he’s said something (which I believe has been taken out of context) that doesn’t fit the media’s current narrative, so is being chastised for it while they earn money off ads.

Was on another level last night. Sat near the corner flag in the Gallowgate. Didn’t even catch the lads name next to me but it was like I’d grown up with him? everyone around fully taking the moment in. Beautiful to see. Is anywhere showing a replay of the full game so I can take it in again??

Come on here to say exactly that.

That was fucking electric. Will go down in history this. Thanks lads???

Setting off soon, been waiting since I was a kid to see a Champions League game in the flesh with us. Should be arriving about 1-2ish. Anywhere recommended before? Usually just sit in the Strawberry for a few hours before the game. Must say for how busy it gets, you get served very quick.

Wouldn’t bet against him having a ticket for tonight. Can’t remember what game he was just sat in the normal seats after he’d fell out with Pardew.

The last one reminds me of a few dodgy tattoos I’ve seen.
-
I’d say it’d be the police more than anything.
-
I might be wrong but I’m sure it was Pardew had him in as a left back with his 70th minute subs.
-
Only caught the 2nd half, but wow, he looked complete. Seemed to be thriving in the atmosphere. Wonder if Howe will try Tripps left back like he plays for England and get Tino a few more starts on the right.

I’m not sure of the situation of this woman mentioned, but there are seats allocated in the away for friends/family of those connected to the club. My mate had a text from someone in the club right after the Milan game offering 2 tickets for Wolves away. She might just be friendly with someone rather than going against rules sharing tickets. Even if she was, if someone was offering you an away on a regular basis, knowingly risking their points, I’m sure the majority on here would take it.

Gonna thank him in the street when I see him. Won’t forget to remind him to keep on going and he’ll get the Manure job.
-
I’ve not even looked at stats, but off memory this season he’s been pretty clinical? Fair enough he fluffed a couple today, but he’s taken most chances well this season.

I very nearly got a ticket in the home end for this. I would have been thrown out by half time?. We played very well, but as a lot of people have said, Sheffield Utd just looked shocking. If we were fully on our game it could have easy been 12-0 plus. Buzzing for Anderson and Longstaff. Only skim read a few pages of this thread but not seen much mention of Trips, hat-trick of assists.. wicked. Well needed big win which should kickstart our season.

Twice in a week this.

Hamer is the one to watch for them. I've seen a lot of him in the past few seasons with Coventry, was a bit reserved if he could do it in the Prem but he's looking right at home so far.

For a very brief period last night, it seemed to me him and Gordon were playing the roles on the left similar to the two Joe’s last year. He really seemed up for it in the first few mins then faded out slowly.
