Definitely blaming you if he's on the bench. He's in my team but i still hope he's on the bench on Monday

Torn between leaving work and going to this or just heading to the pub to watch it.

He is shit like, i think we've all agreed on this.

I've never understood the view to boo your own players off the pitch. I'm sure a lot of fans thought this and it was kind of only on the extreme days the boo boys would come out but now it's like just accepted to boo every time a poor show or defeat takes place. Madness, does nobody any favours. Understand the odd frustrations standing up yelling at a couple of players now and then to buck their ideas up but some of the s*** Pardew/Jonas/Tiote get is just ridiculous. Bold part i was, first part just vented fury straight off as the boo boys entered my mind as i was about type about the people who stand up give out abuse to players/manager every week

We've been here a million times, Moyes had a better record and a worse squad. You f*** off. It's fickle to believe that you would have accepted it and backed him to stay after the lowest points tally and a 17th place, god dam even i would have wanted him out. I would admit that, i've been very judgemental in the past with wanting managers out. I was one of those who thought Bobby’s time was up, I’m ashamed to admit it now but I was. If Moyes had of arrived and had that kind of season, I’d have been saying sack him and get someone ‘class’ in.
-
We haven't turned on him, have you read this board, there's a handful of people who are actually behind him this season to do well. I’ve always said the best thing about our supporters at SJP at the minute is the fact they don’t sing Pardew out songs. You just get the idiots who think it’s fine to turn up and yel abuse at him because they’ve paid their money so it’s acceptable to do that.
-
We would have mauled Moyes' face off with his early record, no time for patience and kindness around here.

? What is your question? If Moyes turned up here from Preston, got Newcastle their worst ever points tally and finished 17th, would this board not be in meltdown saying he's out of his depth and needs sacked? Personally i believe they wouldn't have give him a chance in hell to turn things around. Besides league position, you are ignoring all (every.single) factor that would determine whether or not this board would be in "meltdown". No i'm not, lowest ever points tally in the history of the club and a 17th place finish for a new young manager would certainly be getting labelled out of his depth and time to move on. Btw that wasn't the only time sections of Everton fans wanted him gone, their was other times too but the board did excellent to keep the faith in him and now he's managing the biggest club in the country. This is not me saying Pardew can be the next Moyes, i just think it's one bad season and we should be judging on this season to see if this side can bounce back, Everton and Moyes did, so can we. When they finished 17th which of their players should have been in a top 8 team? Also, what were the finances like? What was their recruitment policy? Ask Neil for that detail, all i know is regardless of that, he was 7th to 17th and our fans would have turned on him like savaged dogs because that's what we do. Pardew finished 5th and slumps to 16th and the whole city wants him crucified without even a shot of redemption. He's had half a season finished 12th, then up to 5th and now back down to 16th, ok we are at our lowest position under him but at least give him the chance to redeem himself, with the players at his disposal he can still make this work.

So people telling me that they would have stuck by Moyes when he accumulated Everton's worst ever points tally and finished 17th. Fuck off would you lot have done.
-
Yeah, they were 11th 8 years ago and 4th the year before that. Desperatley close to the edge. And the year before 4th they were 17th? So they went from 17th to 4th. I'm sure the team got a lot of stick for finishing 17th but they bounced back to show what they were capable of. My point still stands, a good team can have a bad season, we are a good team and we had a bad season, get over it.
-
Everton have finished in the top 8 for the last 7 seasons. They're a top 8 team. Stop being delusional. Never said they weren't? I said Naismith isn't a top 8 PL player. I was pointing out how Everton have had a bad year and flirted relegation then bounced back with a very good league finish, then year after fell short of expectations again but then year after bounced back up. We had a bad season last year, that doesn't mean we are a bad team, we can still bounce back this year, that's my point.

What a load of crap. See. You do this. Don't actually explain why it’s a load of crap that i don't think i'll ever witness some of things Ben Arfa produces right before my very own eyes at SJP ever again. He's special. These types of players don't come around very often at your club.
-
Well Ben Arfa is a genius in my eyes, i'm not talking Messi standard, but for me he does things my eyes have never witnessed before and not sure they ever will again. Naismith isn't a top 8 player, just because he finished there with his team does not make him a top 8 player, teams go up and down, Everton have flirted with relegation then year after bounced up and finished top 8, teams can have poor seasons, this doesn't make them a poor team. Sometimes you underperform and don’t reach expectations, sometimes you can surpass expectations, one bad season doesn’t determine that a team isn’t good or the players haven't got quality.

He wasn't wrong, Ramsey was awful last season. Don't think anyone expected him to suddenly look like one of the best midfielders in the league. Ben Arfa was awful when he came back from injury and couldn't find form, too. You don't write your own players off when they've proven to be very effective pre-injury. Not often i agree with Ronaldo but he's spot on here. Ron gets this a lot, i tend to see a lot agreeing with him though He's got a bit of 'Dave' in him where he will post a word or two, possibly a short sentence at best to a discussion but then think that is good enough for his argument because he is right, they rarely get drawn in to explaining themselves and expressing their actual opinion

Obscure players past and present you really dislike

Wot Just pisses me off. Every time i watch Barca/Spain play he just grates on me. Always had a thing for disliking him, just even little things like his comments in interviews wind me up. Obviously i know how great a footballer he is and he is loved around the world but i've always had a vendetta against him for reasons unknown. -

You need to reign that in tbh... They all look good enough for a side that finished 16th imo. No but you're saying the players aren't as good as i think, and i think they can finish top 8. So in your opinion which of these players do you think i'm wrong about? Who am i over estimating as a player?
