  1. Hadaway and s**** man, Bimpy I rate him as much as i do Hughton and everyone thinks i hate him Like f*** you do. I do, i'd flip on coin on who i think is a better manager. I don't hate either of them but Hughton is by far the nicer man. Think i'd prefer to go for a pint with Pards though
  2. That gets you in the whole argument would you rather have an FA cup in the bag and spend a few years fighting in the Championship for it. Debatable Or, as they are in the Quarter Finals of that cup, played in the Europa League and are mounting a great run into the Championship play offs in a 46 game season. Something that would fry your hero's brain to dust. They bombed out of Europa early and outside of the playoffs is not an achievement, like. They now face Man City and i can't see history repeating itself. I still fancy them to be in the Championship for a couple of years yet as it's a very tough league to get out of of once you are in it. We did remarkably well to cruise out of it like we did.

  4. You can want it but no need to go overboard in regards to it. Chelsea are top of the league but play boring football yet Arsenal are the ones who strive to win it with pretty football. There's only City/Arsenal/Liverpool/Everton/Southampton/Swansea in the league who really try to play good football week in week out regardless. Not like we are one of kind here. Would be nice to play that way but it's not a crucifixion session all around because we don't.
  5. You are such a bellend sometimes. They get praise for their football, is it so hard for you to just accept that. Honestly sometimes I wonder if you are a WUM or just thick. Wigan played nice football and got relegated. It's not the be all and end all.
  6. If Everton and Southampton didn't get as much arse licking on here, i don't think i'd be as bothered to finishing above them. You lot feed me the passion Southampton took a dive out of the fa cup against the mackems for whatever reason, failed in league cup, are behind us in the league and they too sold one of their assets in Jan without replacing yet they still get so much praise on here compared to ourselves.

Last season showed if that spine doesn't play well. We are royally f'd. Krul-Colo-Tiote-Cabaye-Star srtriker Last year only Krul & Cabaye had decent seasons and we struggled very badly. Without Ba we would've been relegated. Cabaye was not decent last year, like. He was just as shite as the rest, had a few standout games after he came out about his depression then went back into his shell again.
  8. Hadaway and shite man, Bimpy I rate him as much as i do Hughton and everyone thinks i hate him
  9. At the end of the day our captain shouldn't be someone who consistently talks about leaving the club. Give it to someone who wouldn't dream of leaving... like Cabaye. Just came across this, tickled me
  10. I like it, he seems self confident and has spoke sense when i've heard his interviews. Although i've yet to see him speak after a defeat so don't know what he said yesterday I like the fact he pretty much talked and gambled himself into the job... Hire me now or don't hire me at all kinda thing, ballsy b****** Or massive talent blag I dunno he's very cocky for someone who has achieved f*** all as a manager and was a bang average player IMO I think that's why i like it more I was thinking at the time like, who does he think he is to put in such demands the tosser, then they give him the job and he went up tenfold in my estimations for pulling if off, what a cunt

  12. A different manager with a lesser repuatation and he would have been gone by now.
  13. Yeah but if we are doing well in the league and you get a last minute winner and only a give a 'meh', you are hardly happy with the way things are going in the league. Results went our way this weekend with Everton and Southampton both dropping points and i think it's only natural to want to finish higher than them even if it doesn't make a huge difference.
  14. If someone said in the summer that you'd score a last minute winner at home to Villa to move you up to 8th place and 5 points behind Everton/Man Utd, you'd have been snapping that up. Think events throughout the past few month have took a shine off what has been to date a good league campaign. It would take something special to jump from near relegation to a top 6 place within a season. There was an outside chance of it if we kept Cabaye and spent money but Ashley put an end to that. Man Utd look back to full strength now and you would fancy them to kick on for rest of season to seal top 6. Would leave the race to us, Everton and Southampton to win the place for 7th even if there isn't much dif between that and 10th. Not sure if you genuinely just don't get it, or if you're on the wind up, Brett. "It would take something special to jump from near relegation to a top 6 place within a season" I mean what? Well if we aren't bothered about a last min winner taking us to 8th place, we aren't arsed for this position then. Therefore we expect to be top 6 rather than our season being over by March. We were nearly relegated last season and a lot were of the opinion we would be thereabouts again yet we are 8th and 5 points off Everton, and a point ahead of Southampton both who get far more praise on here than we do.
  15. If it was me and the chance was there, i'd sign him now. You need to be giving service to look a goal threat something he hasn't really been given but he's been excellent helping others be a goal threat which is just as vital imo. Was a tidy finish from him yesterday for his offside goal.

  17. Why have we been playing Williamson and Taylor together recently? MYM was signed as Coloccini's long term replacement but your hero doesn't know how to use him. I agree Mym should have played, I'm always speaking on here what a class act mym is. That don't mean to say I firmly believe when Colo is the side he makes a huge difference. This recent run of embrassing results and the one last season have both come in his absence. It's glaringly obvious what a class act he still is today even if he isn't at the standard he once was but all players decline slowly with age and injuries.
  18. His attacking option on the bench changed the game for us? So why wasn't he starting then if our tactic was to hoof it up to our strikers and put aimless crosses into the box? That's not for me to answer, i don't know Whatever the tactics/lineup, we kept a clean sheet, won the match and more importantly, deserved to win the match. Suppose it's 3 more points away from relegation
  19. Can't be arsed to agree that Colo in our side is massive. Or do you think he's finished and shit husband too?
  20. So this is the latest one then. One player out and everything goes to s***. Righteo. Pardew was given a £7m centre half just over a year ago and doesn't use him. No i'm saying he's a huge difference to our side. People can mention Cabaye and our win percentage and stats of whatever else without him in the side, but make no mistake about it, Colo is the one that holds the side together. Just like when he returned from injury late in the season last year and was excellent. He has form dips himself like any player does but the way he brings comfort to those around him is world class. There's no way Taylor could have covered for Dummett today the way Colo was always keeping check on him.
  21. I think Colo has only ever lost one derby game in his time here, the recent games we've been soundly beaten he has been out. That's not a coincidence.
  22. I've always said Colo is a massive factor. We don't have these sustained batterings when he is on the pitch. We might get trounced a game here or a game there but we don't go on these type of runs where it's embarrassing defeat after embarrassing defeat. Goalscorer and Captain today both missed the two said matches and they were the two top performers for me today, massive relief to have them both back in action.
