He’s a RW, wonder if he’s going to be Murphy’s main competition this upcoming season
  2. I imagine it’s because we’d easily become the most hated club, the cartel already want to destroy us and they’d lobby the governing bodies to hand out the harshest punishment in the history of football. We’d probably go down minimum three leagues and get transfer bans for years as well. It would be a dream scenario for the cartel if we broke the rules

Ekitike is a much better player than Pedro in my opinion. Are Chelsea still looking to sign Ekitike?

I think Madueke is available but we’ve moved on. I’m all in on Dibling even if it is silly money and the same as Pedro. I think anywhere up to £55m is fair for Dibling personally and I do think he’s in a similar category to a Lewis Hall or Tino in that a lot of clubs wouldn’t take the risk on him yet

Aye, find the pointing of fingers odd when we have access to such tiny amounts of info. I do agree though that we’re largely going to struggle buying from the PL market if we’re only looking at buying established quality players. We got Tino from a relegated side after an ACL, we got Hall as an 18 year old prospect, we got Pope from a relegated side and Barnes too. Looking back it’s impressive that we landed Gordon given there was interest from other clubs. My concern is less about “how fast we move” and more about “where we target players from and what stage of development”. If we target players who are slightly earlier in the development then sure, there’s more risk and they’re not likely to come in and make an immediate impact but theyll be younger and have a higher ceiling most likely

The good thing about Chelsea being a total fucking mess in the transfer market is that it’ll take a while again before any semblance of a team starts to form and people can hold down a place. Then, just as they’re getting close to figuring it out they’ll change both their manager and their squad again. Fucking rats
  9. Nah, he was absolute quality and if he hadn’t had persistent injury issues he’d have had a top career in the PL. He was possibly the best at heading the ball the league has seen and he had a top left peg. He was also a nightmare to play against for defenders. Can’t remember if it was his ankles or his back but he was never the same after he left us and had an injury at Liverpool

The only way forward is a United pact between other sides that they won’t take Chelsea’s cast offs. That would quickly stop this fucking nonsense

Chelsea’s approach is likely motivated in large part by stopping us from strengthening. We’re one of their closest rivals now and they’ll be terrified of us overtaking them so either taking our targets or driving up the fee for us is dreamland for them
  12. Nah, they’ll have a wildcard player with some really strong attributes and some huge weaknesses. If his head was right then he could be trained into being a top player, I don’t believe his head is right or ever will be
  13. As if footballers aren’t boring enough already, can you imagine how fucking empty their responses are going to be after all the media coaching for this? Interviewer: ”Do you think it was the right call to bring you off? As you went on to concede and draw the match” Player: ”We have to trust in our processes, we’ve put a lot of work in. The manager has us all working hard for the team. I think we just need to keep pushing.”
  14. Can’t fucking stand this sort of shit
  15. Howay man, his attitude is fucking awful and he’s a really selfish player

Will be an extremely exciting signing if it comes off as it’ll significantly change how we attack teams
  17. Does look that way, that seemed to be our cut off on Guehi despite noise of higher bids. I think we’d potentially go higher for a player like Guler but whether we could get a player like that is probably unlikely
  18. All fees are inflated. Unless you can get players on release clauses or in their final year of contract then every window prices go up. For the top players with release clauses and entering a final year then it’s very difficult for us to be first choice because we can’t offer top wages and we’re not an established top four team
  19. This is a fairly massive point, unlikely that his value drops significantly with us, more likely to go up unless we pay a ridiculous fee
  20. Have people lost their minds? We’re targeting players to come into the first team, it’s only players who haven’t broken through who don’t have sell on clauses. You can argue about how we should be shopping in different markets but wherever we search for established players there are most likely going to be sell on clauses nowadays
  21. Howay man, take a breather and log off until September
  22. Brighton will sell Pedro at that price if no one else matches it. They’re desperate to get rid. We shouldn’t be pushing the bid too high. If those disgusting vermin at Chelsea want to bid stupid money for him then so be it. Vile rodents
  23. Where dem distressed assets at?
  24. Might be time for Vlach to undergo the Big Jow treatment and fashion himself a role in central midfield
