Howay Lukaku, hope he has a good game

What even causes a back injury? Burn’s was an impact injury so that made sense. Anderson’s was a stress fracture which didn’t make any sense. Is this a stress fracture again?

    St James' Park

Middle East Stand has a lovely ring to it, £50m sponsorship please per year

    St James' Park

    Aye, Dazza, watch your letterbox
  5. I thought it was a fair challenge, very committed but looked like there was contact with the ball but I only saw it once on the replay

    St James' Park

NUFC buy the station, and the whole metro line. Rename it the NUFC express and all revenue goes towards FFP. Rename St. James’ metro the Saudi Dreamland Station and turn it into a mini theme park with rollercoasters that take you into the Gallowgate stadium. Price for a ticket on the Gallowgate coaster, £200 a pop. Solve two problems in one fell swoop
  7. I’d add Jow to that mix as well. Would absolutely hate him to leave. Hopefully we’re talking about Tonali like this in a year’s time too

    St James' Park

I take the St. James’ metro if I’m leaving SJP and going home. It’s the only time I use it. Actually that’s a lie, I very occasionally use it for work if I’m not driving. Must be the least used station on the line apart from for two hours a fortnight

    Alexander Isak

Completely disagree, Isak offers more to the overall side and is still developing. He’s 24 and will have huge financial value for 5 more years at least. Toney is a great striker but he’s English and an international so would cost extra simply because of that. He’s 28 so doesn’t have longer term financial value. I would rate Isak higher on most elements apart from fitness

    Alexander Isak

Losing Isak and gaining Toney would be utterly shit. Not that I’m expecting either of those things to happen
  11. Devastated for them. Fingers crossed they don’t collapse as a club

    England

Aye, Huddlestone was amazing at striking a ball and have it glide along the ground or just kiss the turf at huge pace. Seemed a good lad, not exactly a complete player though. Scott Parker is like a less physical version of Conor Gallagher
  13. I just can’t get my head round it. That would put him as one of our top earners, no? We dilly dallied for a fair while in making him permanent. At Villa, do we know what he was on?
  14. There’s not a chance he’s on £100k

    England

There’s no way I’d play Rashford over Gordon in our side, wouldn’t even consider it based on form over the last 12 months

    Anthony Gordon

    Absolutely delighted for him
  17. Fair enough. I think Isak’s ability exceeds Ferdinand’s by a distance but Ferdinand was an incredibly good goalscorer. He was like a better, fitter version of Callum Wilson who was also better in the air. Isak offers the team more than just goals. If Isak’s here next season he’ll move past Ferdinand unless he has injuries that keep him out for large parts of the season
  18. Who are you putting after Shearer and before Isak?
  19. Will always remember him more for having slept with Ulrika Johnson, a fantastic achievement given his appearance
  20. I’d say Isak is close to irreplaceable in terms of talent, Bruno is close to irreplaceable in terms of attitude. His talent is extremely difficult to replace as well
  21. Shout out to the graphic telling us that Baumgartner has “1 goal in this match” After fifteen seconds

    England

Foden had one. Watkins blazed a quality chance over. Chilwell went for the orbit shot three times I think

    England

Watching Rashford’s work off the ball and his reading of the game when the other team is in possession is a deeply distressing experience
