When is Crooks going to be given the primetime billing he deserves? For too long he’s been cast out into the shadows. Get him a job fronting a BBC show please, even if it’s the One Show
  2. Olise is class like, really interesting player and clearly a maverick off the pitch too. If his attitude is good, then I’d love him here
  3. Phillips feels like a West Ham player to me. I think he could come in and play some great stuff under Howe, I just don’t know if he’s the type of player Howe actually wants for this team. It’s hard to know exactly what how he’d ideally have us set up. We clearly looked at Diaby, Maddison, Szob a huge amount so we know that we wanted a RW and an AM. The only player who we were linked with a lot who has a similar profile to Phillips was Edson Alvarez right? Or am I forgetting some names?
  4. Very good save from the meme keeper
  5. Standard had been pretty awful
  6. Not sure Nunez is heavy on the gray matter
  7. Man U honestly look like they’ve come here to try and only lose 3-0
  8. Amrabat’s performances for Man U are reminiscent of James Perch at his peak
  9. Onana is far too emotional man, he’s a headcase
  10. Feel like this could well be a hilarious drubbing
  11. Wish they’d held onto Stevie G

The Anderson - Miley comparisons are a bit lazy like. Miley is clearly a midfielder, whether he plays in a box to box role, or higher up the pitch is to be seen. His ability to receive the ball and release it is second only to Bruno really. Anderson is a wide player who hasn’t shown much in midfield. He’ll ever play in an advanced wide role or as a left winger. His game doesn’t look very versatile but he has excellent close control with the ball and fantastic movement. I’d expect them both to be a success in all honesty. Miley has more to his game and a much higher ceiling but I think people underrate Anderson’s ability
  13. Thats a shame, he’s grown over the years from a pundit I found fairly unbearable to being one of my favourites now
  14. Never not going to love this lad. I probably forgive him too much as he’s just such a top lad to have around but he’s honestly one of my favourite players ever for us. I think for pound-to-pound ability + likeability he’s the highest up on my list of people I like, above Jonas in terms of being quite limited but it doesn’t stop me loving the lad
  15. Not really arsed about debating something that none of us have any insider info on but I’d imagine Ashworth relishes projects with potential. Brighton had that, we have that. In a sense, Man U have that as they’ve performed well below their standards for years. However, people like him need to have a lot of control in order to be happy in their jobs. There’s no way you get to the standing Ashworth has in the game without being a complete control freak. I seriously doubt he’d able to have the same level of control at Man U as he does here and that’s probably the crux of it if you take out all the other arguments
  16. Did he even get the assist for that incredible cross yesterday?
  17. Danny Murphy could see someone pull a knife out on the pitch: ”The thing is, you can see why he’s done it. He’s maybe overstepped in the moment but you want to see players who care. For me, it’s a quiet word in the ear”
  18. Howay Brentford tomorrow. Also, it pains me but I hope Liverpool rinse Man U
  19. Need to stop over-engineering the game and making it more complicated. I don’t even have an issue with sin bins in principle in sports but it’s just going to make football messier. If they were getting the yellows and reds right it’d be fine

    Anthony Gordon

He’s decent? He’s got lethal pace, he’s desperate to succeed, he’s got excellent ability at cutting inside and leaving a man for dead with his close control. He’s got excellent movement and spots a run. He’s also great at our press and putting in the defensive effort. He’s added more goals to his game. The next step is to provide more consistent chances for his teammates. He’s fairly faultless, sure he could have better tricks and technique and beat his man down the line but his overall game is outstanding
  21. Burnley have been a major let down. Expected them to be a lot better than what they’ve shown so far this season
