  1. Genuinely hilarious this game, like it’s being played by school kids with amazing talent but no structure
  2. The amount of people whose entire selling point is that they’re extremely dislikeable is a fascinating development of the internet era / new jobs era
  3. Alex Ferguson left Man U a decade ago. Have there been periods in football where one of the top three richest sides in world football have been so shit for a decade? Shit by their own standards and the standards of their riches that is

Bloody hell, was a massive character growing up and was clearly a talented manager in an old school fashion

    Anthony Gordon

Easily, if he stays fit and either maintains his current form or even somehow improves
  6. Arteta’s such a weirdo man
  7. Don’t think he’s a mercenary by any stretch. By all accounts, he’s worked extremely hard at Man City and has wanted to play more, he’s not caused any rifts or issues. My issue is whether he has the drive to be the best. The limited game time over the last few years suggests he maybe doesn’t have the will to become the best he can be. However, who knows, it’s not like any of us know what’s going on there for sure
  8. Only seen Roony once, is he an Odegaard style player? Attacking midfielder with excellent dribbling technique? I’d say, Odegaard’s the ideal player for us even though his own dribbling technique isn’t amazing. His vision and shooting from the edge of the box is exceptional

Isak’s hilarious. Must be one of those people that communicates positively through violence or abuse. One of my best mates wasn’t the most comfortable socially and would always take the piss out of you or give you a punch on the arm when he was trying to be kind to you
  10. I agree, both times it was just an instinctual flick away. I guess it‘s there as a form of conditioning, they’ll very quickly stop doing it when it leads to cards. I get that a stance needed to be taken as some people were taking the piss but it does feel weird seeing it lead to a sending off which was so mild
  11. Does sound extremely concerning, don’t beat Man U 5-0 and that’s that, do we think?

That cross yesterday was fantastic, if he can add quality crossing to his game consistently then he’s pretty much a complete player. He doesn’t need elite dribbling on the wing as he beats his man so easily for pace
  13. I agree with @bobbydazzla in terms of there being too many areas of the ground where it’s almost impossible to sing consistently as no one around you joins in. The solution is to make more singing sections in each stand. That way, you reduce the risk of the ballot landing you in a dead zone
  14. I mean, the Jury will be out on Hall until midway through next season and deservedly so. He’s a great prospect but his development was never close to what Tino’s was pre-injury. Expect them both to be great for us but Tino is on a different level, good chance he becomes one of our best three players for years
  15. Wouldn’t call it a soulless experience like. The Dortmund game was a real low point for me but there have been some decent home crowds so far this season. Looking forward to Man U and Milan coming up where I think the atmosphere should be class in both. Needs to be absolutely bouncing for both games and I’ll be gutted if it isnt

He’s arrived at that level, a bit like Bruno last season where he’s putting in faultless performances every single game
  17. We’ve heard what Splinter has to say, but what about Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo?
  18. Tonali not in that victory picture? Too busy at Grosvenor’s was he?
  19. Aye, I’d love them to stay up. Perhaps they have the best chance of the promoted three. Sheff Utd will end up bottom I’m sure
  20. Never want to see this lad on the bench again

Hard to see past him being a top five left wing player in the league for the next decade. That’s unless he starts playing other positions more regularly as he clearly has the versatility to play very well in other roles too
  22. Pretty embarrassing result for Chelsea. Enormous credit to Howe for an exceptional result but Poch should really be starting to answer some questions about how he hasn’t fashioned a side out of the hundreds of players he has
