He’s a world class footballer and he could get into most midfields in the world, he’s the type of player that would still be out of reach if he hadn’t had health issues. If we can’t convince him to come with what will no doubt be a great offer then does ‘long way’ not translate to ‘trying to persuade’? Personally think Guardiola will flop at international level. Incredible at club level with ingraining a very specific system but much harder at international level when he’d have way less time with the players

His game is really interesting like, not the kind of raw pace I’d love for us to have but we can get that from an outright winger. He’s got lovely technique on his right foot and seems to read the game very well. Not seen enough of him to know about his left foot though, does he use it at all apart from tap ins?
