The fuck is a penalty being given for that in the Turkey Croatia game. Utter joke, well done VAR If Taylor had overruled VAR there he should have been thrown in the tip
-
Wonder how much Milan knew about it when our interest surfaced

Left the training camp? Does that mean? He’s coming home Newcastle? He might as well ay been in jail. He’d walk the streets al day al neet For a bet at the William Hill

Sane’s bordering on too old even though I love him. Raphinha isn’t known for his defensive work is he? My ideal signing would be Saka (when uninjured) but I don’t think he’ll be available for some years to come. Id prefer that we signed a 23-24 year old who’s already proved themselves in a top league and who is very attacking minded but also an industrious player who will do hard running for the team too. My knowledge of who would be a good fit is limited as I only watch the other major European leagues a couple of games a week in total so it’s pretty sporadic

Looks like he’s running across two lanes, disqualified.

I don’t have any tattoos, part of it is due to thoughts about whether I’d question it in years to come and part of it is a personal aesthetic thing. For you, is it just that you question the designs or the association of the design to a thing from the past? Or just something else entirely?

Moment of hope these days in all honesty. He can’t hurt us anymore

How many of Paul Scholes’ daughters toes show up in the AI image?

How many of Paul Scholes’ daughters toes show up in the AI image? Wrong thread, but I’ll leave it here for safe keeping too

Are we going to be responsible for when an AI Steve Bruce Terminator kills us all? I’ll say this now and I hope everyone listens “he was one of the most important managers of the last century”

Someone tried Couscous nonce yet?

Longstaffs in the mud. AI did Sean and Marty dirty

Dyer? Doesn’t remind me of Dyer at all. I think what we’re getting is a player who can play a lot of different positions flexibly and who is competent at most things. I think his pace will be a weapon and I think his long-ball passing, crossing and dead ball delivery will all be excellent. Think he’ll get a lot of assists but not a lot of goals
-
This is a very good point. His dead ball delivery is fantastic and we’ve not had a chance to see any of it. If Trippier wasn’t playing he’d take the vast majority of that on and become key
-
His first touch has been really poor at times, I agree on that and have raised it before. He’s also shown to have a very good touch at times as well. Im putting it down to his adjustment to a new league and taking a confidence hit due to everything being new and having to totally re-establish himself. I didn’t watch him at all for Milan but there’s no way we’d have signed someone who wasn’t technically good enough. Think Bruno adjusted remarkably quickly, very unusual and that’s maybe due to his incredible confidence. Whereas Tonali is a lot more reserved. It might not be until the end of the season that we see the very best of Tonali and then he returns from summer he’ll light it up

Is that Joe Willock with the exploded head? Who’s gormless?
-
His next job is to turn Wesley into a world class bruising midfielder

He hates fucking Sunderland

Feel like I haven’t seen you around much recently Away Toon, did the good run of results scare you off?
-
Noticing a theme so far

Was there a season we only got our first penalty in April or something? In the latter Ashley years?

Have to admit, watching those old matches did make me appreciate VAR a lot more. Can’t believe we put up with that standard of officiating. I know there’s still loads to complain about but you were talking match-defining incorrect decisions in most weekly games whereas now it’s maybe down to a handful of games

Watched the TNT highlights of the 01-02 champions league final between Bayern and Valencia. Couldn’t remember the game from when I was younger but it looked like one of the worst finals ever. Then watched the highlights of 03-04 Porto - Monaco. Some disgusting linesmen decisions against Monaco. Thank fuck the offside officiating is largely a load better nowadays
