Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

How likeable is Dwight Gayle? We all knew how awful Bruce was but Dwight seems like such a down to earth lad, very little ego and speaks well. Always liked him with us and hope he has fond memories of his time at NUFC -
His first start after the most intense match of his career, playing with strangers and a new manager. Top journalism

If he’d managed to get the club down to his level we’d be non-league by now, the fucking waster -
Livra should make the step to consistent B next season. Burn will drop a bit from those lofty heights next season. Got to hope that Osula climbs and I think Miley will be in consensus B territory soon. Joelinton would get himself in the Bs if he can produce at 90% of the cup final quality most games
-
The question is how we create space for Kane within twenty yards of goal. His legs have gone for running at defences and it was never really his game but it’s so pronounced now. He’s one level above Callum Wilson on the functioning legs dept
-
Foden is absolutely nothing like Mason Mount. He might not produce for England but he’s a ridiculously talented player technically
-
Lush Vlad’s already referenced it, he slapped away the hand of one of his teammates after he scored his goal when they came to celebrate with him. He’s had a couple of red cards and he’s 17 years old

Dan Burn bullying Pickford, lovely
-
Rashford chasing back to defend like he hadn’t done for Man U for the last four years

Something about Lewis Skelly pisses me off, get the feeling he’s got a massive ego
-
An extremely boring spectacle
-
Still like Pardew? Fuck me, all his actions are self-serving, surely you can see that
-
Howe is an A. When he hangs it up he’ll be a consensus A from the footballing world. For now, he’s our A
-
He’s positive about the club because it makes him look better. That’s it. By associating himself with Newcastle, especially now that we’ve won a trophy it only helps his profile
-
That seems fairly reasonable to me. I think split fare is the cheapest option by rail
-
Agreed, I miss playing on the grass, headers and volleys etc. Proper nostalgic playing on that sort of turf
-
At the start of the season I was interested to see how Koleosho developed but he seems to have dropped off. Equally, Gnonto’s career appears to have gone backwards
-
Yup, he’s an extremely talented and versatile player. Can’t really see many scenarios where he doesn’t push on other than potential injuries
-
I imagine so but if there’s one player we want to get from the domestic market it’s Dibling. Huge talent and dropping down a division
-
From the relegation crew it would only be Dibling I’d be after. I haven’t watched him at all in the second half of the season. Anything below £45m is a good deal for him
-
Hmm, very hard to grade. Think his ability is definitely a B but he hasn’t played anywhere near enough for us feel confident rating what his baseline is and his ceiling. I’m going to go for a C for now even though I think he’s a level above that and will prove it when he gets consistent game time

Froggy got glassed over the internet

I love how much the lads get on as a group. You can tell there’s a brilliant camaraderie. Bruno and Jow are best mates. Seeing Gordon and Botman and all the others over the moon even though they weren’t on the pitch during the match. Isak and Willock are clearly really close. Just a great bunch of lads

Anyone who didn’t shine a light on Mike Ashley tearing the club to pieces for his own gain for 14 years can fuck off with shining a light on the easiest topic in town to reference. The Saudi regime and its human rights abuses are awful. What exactly do you want football fans to do about it?
