The still they showed of the rendered image didn’t match the still they’d showed before. Whole thing’s a complete waste of time. No one can have any confidence in the system at all
-
Going to walk onto the pitch, pull my trousers down and take a shit on the turf. Then going to get out a little stick and cut the word ‘Howe’ into the sturdy turd. Only then will I feel I’ve conveyed my true feelings

Indeed, we bought two players in the summer whose best positions are number 10s, Ramsey and Woltemade. The unfortunate truth is that we don’t play with a 10 and there have been pretty much zero indications that we’ll switch to having one

Theyre a caricature of a football club

I don’t think anyone wanted Elanga. In fact loads of people said they didn’t, when it became clearer he was coming I think many of us, myself included, convinced ourselves there was a way it could work even though it wasn’t ideal by any means. This was sadly incorrect

Who wouldn’t want a succulent Anthony Gordon for £100m?

Saudi sports seems in tatters. Golf fucked off, snooker fucked off, football players desperate to leave Saudi Arabia and having to nullify contracts. Sports aren’t easy to conquer
-
Aye, the classiest player since Modric
-
I like Enrique and I love Kvara, Doue, Mendes and Barcola so I’ll be very happy to watch them destroy Arsenal
-
Can’t argue with any of that, all makes sense

Finneran looks class from what I’ve seen. Very complete footballer, all now hangs on the intangibles about how he makes the leap to adult football, as he’s definitely got the game to make it
-
He’s a very good player in fairness. Hard to dislodge Gravenberch and Szob but I’d play him over Alexis. Can’t say I’ve watched them closely enough to say how best to play those three but they’re all quality footballers. Alexis used to be but I think he’s faded quite a bit

In fairness I do care about it. Results are a huge aspect of football but they’re not everything. I see people whingeing on here when we lose a match because of a single moment and it colours their perspective that the whole performance is shite and that a certain player needs to go or the manager has been found out. Obviously, there’s a cumulative nature to people’s frustrations but a lot of it is extremely fickle, emotionally underdeveloped nonsense. Winning a trophy is incredibly special but looking back, winning that League Cup was made more special by virtue of the fact that we had a brutally difficult run and we deserved to be winners, having played a quality brand of football through most of the competition. If I’d watched us play corner kick ball and had seen our manager carrying on like a hypocritical classless bitch I’d definitely have not had as amazing an experience after the game when we’d won and since then. I think for some people, the winning is too important and it’s so they can shove it in someone else’s face. Not saying that’s you or most fans but too many have a personality that’s tied to football’s ups and downs in terms of results. What’s important is results and performances as a combo. We’ve not had a great deal of either this season and it’s been fucking awful because of it

“There’s a lot of stuff that gets said about me and written about me but I just keep my head down, don’t believe everything you read is what I’d say. I’m big enough to rise above it and give this club everything because it means so much to me.” Gordon leaves the interview and steps into a limo where he signs a contract with a new club

Fuck football
-
Already read it. The lad will come good. Should have bought him instead of Elanga

Personally I’m gutted. When do we think the next time is that a cartel club faces the drop? It’s not happening, this is one of those miraculous seasons where it was all coming together. West Ham have had three seasons out of the premier league during its lifetime, it’s something but it’s like ordering a Pastrami sourdough sandwich with Dijon mustard and caper berries and you get handed over some white bread warburtons with some margarine and spam hanging out the back of it
-
Howay Forest, hope you fucking bury them
-
Utterly pathetic this. Like a boxer who’s taken an envelope before a fight throwing an occasional body shot with no power behind it and spending the rest of the fight dancing around the ring
-
It’s hard to see past them throwing this. Everything they’ve done has been a disgrace
-
You say that but losing a game like this can have a big impact on the mentality of a team. Villa are odds on for the Europa League title and have two routes to qualify but if they lose here and lose against Forest then it could be a stressful last couple of league games for them. I realise Burnley is a game they probably win 95 times out of 100
-
Aye, I’ll hold my hands up. If we lose all 38 games next season I’ll be worried
-
This is a fucking my disgrace like. West Ham are being royally fucked over
