    St James' Park

If St. James’ gets knocked down for a monstrosity like that I’ll never get over it
  2. Want to a final a match we can be proud of and I’m sure that’s going to be the case. Want the lads to have the best day of their lives on the pitch and I genuinely believe this trophy is ours
  3. Do your best to get him to throw up on a Liverpool fan if we lose
  4. Howay lads, make the dreams come true of millions of fans. Kickstart this new era up another level by getting that first piece of silverware. It’s guaranteed to lift us to greater things
  5. Absolutely stunning, motivation enough for Tonali to bag two tomorrow
  6. Covent Garden’s rammed at the best of times. I know people like to pick popular spots but I’d have absolutely hated being there. Nice to be around fellow fans but I don’t want to be absolutely surrounded and not be able to order something
  7. Ah, well, I imagine unless you can pull this off you’re in trouble
  8. What would she do if you went?
  9. Imagine being that rich and being such a fucking loser man
  10. Joe Willock - Solid C, has some brilliant attributes but is not a consistent player and can go through spells where he seems completely off it, injuries have exacerbated this
  11. I can’t make drinks and probably can’t make food beforehand as I’ve got some family stuff on in the morning. Will probably join from 3 onwards
  12. You say that but I’d have absolutely no confidence assigning ratings for a single player outside of NUFC. I will comment on individual players a lot when I watch them in the “other games” thread but realistically you only know your own players well enough to score
  13. It’s clearly reductive but then there’s no categorisation system that wouldn’t be. I think if you don’t take it too seriously the consensus grades that have been assigned so far are very accurate for their levels and don’t show major biases in fan perceptions. Whether that translates to people’s views on Howe’s achievements remains to be seen
  14. Been an excellent exercise in showing consensus opinion that our squad has way more holes than purples. Should count as a major argument for Howe being a magician
  15. Hmm, Jacob. I’d say for large parts of his career with us he’s been a D and even an E. This season he’s definitely been a C. Find it hard to give him a C because of the obvious basic weaknesses in his game. Going to be harsh and give him a D as I think that’s probably his average level

    St James' Park

That allegiant stadium is utter dogshit like
  17. Top tier WUMing in fairness. Haven’t seen the like of it for a few years

    St James' Park

Not going to get too invested until we get some actual real news on this, about what it’ll look like, where it’ll be and what the capacity will be. So far we’ve just had loads of conflicting press pieces every few weeks
  19. Eddie's football throughout his career as a manager has been positive and progressive. We've taken a step backwards; last season partly because of injuries, this season I think it's maybe been about trying to change how we play and that taking time or us just not having the players for it. I do think there are questions about how poor we are in possession of the ball and how we get penned into our own half so often in second halves however, wherever we finish Eddie needs more time and needs to be properly backed in the summer. Expecting him to qualify us for CL football when we haven't freshened the squad up for three windows while all our rivals have is absurd and it's even more absurd that he's on track to actually achieve it
  20. Going to chill the fuck out and enjoy the run up to the game in the knowledge that we’re going to give a great account of ourselves. I know the team will give everything and I think we’ve got a good chance
  21. Don’t think it’s that absurd a comparison but obviously they’re nowhere close in terms of overall ability. I think Bellingham’s physical attributes mask the fact that he’s not actually a brilliant technician. He doesn’t have an amazing touch, he doesn’t have fantastic feet. He’s very good in the air, he’s very strong, he’s fast, has good vision, movement and strikes the ball well. However, he needs skilful players around him who create space for him as it isn’t his strength playing intricate football through a defence
  22. Saying that, if he makes some wonder saves or saves a pen on Sunday, I’ll love him forever. I do already love the lad but he’s just over the hill now
  23. In this era to not be able to kick a football or receive a football is criminal. His sweeping is his massive saving grace but when you combine his kicking with his inability to dive to his left and his age, it’s a clear D for me
