  1. Rein it in, he’s had an ACL and come back from it without any issues
  2. Those are generous words. I rate the Dúbravka we had for many years and don’t have any issue with the fact he went to Man U on loan. I do however have major issues with his game nowadays. It doesn’t match up to how we play in the slightest. For the first time ever he did some sweeping midweek which was remarkable to see but its not his natural game at all, he’s rooted to his line the majority of the time and clearly isn’t comfortable reading when to come out. His shot stopping is massively diminished, he’s extremely slow going down on both sides, not sure if one is worse than the other. He doesn’t catch or claim anything, he’s not remotely intimidating to attackers in 1 v 1s. He’s not good enough to be a number one or number two keeper anymore in my opinion
  3. It’s a hefty no from me
  4. Whitley Mag is ready to pounce, don’t you worry about that. Those knives are sharpened let me tell you

Wonder if he’d have had any game time at all if our back four hadn’t been starring in Casualty this season. One example of the injuries being an indirect positive
  6. Why is football constantly being interfered with, the amount of interference and change increases year on year
  7. 0-7, Thomas Frank’s big blowout before he gets the Man U job
  8. When was the last time we had a keeper this bad that played more than half a season of games?

    Andy Cole

He’s not a bright lad, don’t have anything against him but his opinions are worth nowt
  10. The third goal last night is a goal I’d expect any keeper to make in the top two tiers of football across Europe
  11. I do think not qualifying for Europe would harm us in the transfer market in both directions so we absolutely have to win here
  12. I’m not going to defend Murphy starting over Barnes. We’ll likely see a very different Barnes next season provided he stays fit and we’ll also likely see a lot less of Murphy next season
  13. For someone with his great attitude it was quite something seeing him barely move or make an effort to track back when he’d been level. He was fine going forward but defensively he looked like his legs were completely gone
  14. Howe’s class, how we’re where we are this season is a miracle, it’s so hard to field a different line up week after week or the alternative, playing the same 11 with no let up game after game. He’s not at fault for our squad still have major weaknesses. Can’t wait for him to strengthen the team in the summer
  15. His movement is the best part of his game in an attacking sense but we create a lot more chances than most sides and he’s the one on the end of a ton. I’d be interested to know what his xG is and how much he’s underperforming this season and previously. You cannot rely on him to score in positions where he should and that’s just not good enough even though his goal return isn’t awful on face value
  16. My heart sinks when he misses like he did tonight. It’s criminal the amount of very good chances that come to nothing. For someone who isn’t great on the ball he could make up for it if he was a quality finisher but alas he’s not

I love his balls down the line, so often you see players panic when knocking it down the line and overhit it, skew it wide or just decide to play it safe but he always plays it perfectly dead straight down the line to Gordon or whoever’s there, lovely outlet. I don’t want to see him benched again while he’s fit
  18. He’s far more technically able than Longstaff but in an attacking sense he never seems to get free of his man and then pick a pass which is a bit of a problem for a wide player
  19. How just how does Dubs not save that? It’s absurd that this guy has been our keeper for the majority of the season
  20. The difference Hall makes to our left side going forwards is enormous
