I think it’s fairly clear to see that Rat’s approach is “you pay for it, I’ll ruffle some feathers”. The Glazers aren’t going to be investing huge money into the club and id be very surprised if Rat does long-term either. I don’t mean that his head dropped and that he gave up, he was a committed player, a bit like Miggy. I mean more in terms of self-belief. I don’t think he believed in the attacking elements of his game enough and he wasn’t aggressive enough with that part of his game. When he was on it, he was a fantastic player

He had excellent technical ability. Really good close control, there was nothing missing in terms of ability. Not an amazing athlete and not hungry to be the best player he could be

Based on the fact that he blew hot and cold and went missing. He was my favourite player here for some of his time and I love his game but if he’d had the drive and motivation to be the best he would have had a different career
