Sean isn’t a player you bring on when chasing, he’s a player you bring on to solidify the team when we’re trying to lock down the current score line
-
What the fuck do those statements from Man U actually mean? There’s nothing about what action they’re going to take
-
Fuck off Chelsea, you absolute freak show of a football club
-
It’s absolute throwaway TV, international friendly football or even qualifiers really. I’ll watch it if there’s nothing else on or if one of our players is going to be on the pitch. Otherwise, couldnt care less outside of tournament football really

I think we’ve taken a hit in him not featuring and not being match fit. However, long-term it’ll be a temporary hit. I really like him and I want him to be here for a while in the squad but I do wonder whether he’s the type of player who needs to be playing every game to be sharp. We are massively missing his reading of the game and the amount of yards he covers

This is it in a nutshell ”You get to make your own choices (and be criticised for them). You get to take the money or “grow the game” or whatever. But you do not get to equate the two options you are now presenting as equals.” He can lie to us or himself as much as he wants but it’s not changing shit

Who has a stranger face in football than Garnacho?
-
Has Bondswell had a single minute on the pitch there yet? I really liked what I saw of him in that pre-season friendly in 21-22 but it doesn’t seem like he’s made any impact since then
-
Sounds like a deeply troubled individual, if there’s a lot of self loathing in there too then I feel sorry for him too but he’s clearly a wrong’un

Oh right, I thought the whole thing was just one big deepfake. Perhaps not then. I do still think deepfakes are going to make social media an even bigger disaster than it already is

I’m really excited to see Hall and Livramento in all honesty. I expect we’ll see Livramento a fair bit later due to Trippier still playing to a high standard. Saying that, if he has games like Brighton continuously I wonder whether Howe could drop him for Tino. I think Howe’s players that he’s least likely to drop are Pope, Bruno and Trippier personally

The arrival of deepfakes, just what social media needed
-
Ten Hag’s been putting in the groundwork to catch up with Klopp in my most-disliked managers. A hearty round of applause for his efforts this weekend. Such a sour fuck
-
I agree with this. The long-term plan must include Gordon playing in a different role as Barnes will only play on the left. Gordon did switch to the right against Brighton and he looked absolutely fine there so I think we’ll see it fairly soon
-
Would have loved us to sign Cherki
-
They’re looking a lot more coherent and like they actually know how to play together for the first time in years. Dickheads
-
Not for Man City, I think Isak starts for Liverpool and Arsenal. Bruno starts for Liverpool

You don’t get major improvements from players that had been performing poorly for seasons just by being a motivator, especially when it’s over a period of 18 months. Howe is an outstanding coach who has improved pretty much everyone and being a tactician is part of that, knowing how to develop a player into a more flexible enhanced version. His in-game management is something that I think probably is weaker than some of the best managers around but it’s still an area he could go on to develop to a great level given that we’ve seen him succeed in every other area
-
The eredivisie curse. Suarez was the major one to buck the trend
-
I like Brighton as a club, amazing the way they’ve developed in recent years and they deserve every success. I don’t have a second team and never will but I generally want them to win their matches when not playing us and would be happy for them to challenge the status quo. Used to live twenty mins away so that helps. Our seagulls are bigger and badder though

Is Martinez still a butcher? Feel like I don’t see much butchering from his these days
