Such weird keeping there, looks like he’s shaping to punch it initially

Absolutely no chance like, someone’s cooking the stats books if that’s a claim thats been made
-
Yeah, we have Derby six points, was it 06/07? Remember watching the home game in a pub in Edinburgh and questioning how much worse things would get for us as a club. Turns out it was a lot

Do you still post on there or did they kick you off?

I have zero optimism that their owning us will make any positive impact on society in Saudi Arabia. Maybe I’m cynical but that’s not why they bought the club. My bigger issue with journalism and people like Holt is that they will only ever use this angle to talk about us. Newcastle score a great goal, sportswashing, Newcastle qualify for the CL, sportswashing, Newcastle win a trophy, sportswashing. It’s so reductive and lazy. What are the myriad of reasons we’re successful right now? Why not actually apply some nuance and critical application? There’s no doubt that Saudi Arabia owning us is an example of sportswashing. Everyone is aware of that, so why is it the only item on the agenda for some people? And not the fact that we have a phenomenon of a manager, have bought extremely well, far better than Rich clubs. How has Eddie transformed weaker players in the squad? What role does Newcastle’s history of being a sleeping giant have in the current success? Those are interesting questions for a journalist. However, Holt has made his mind up and no matter what happens this is the angle we’ll get from him and many others

Aye, Isak isn’t the best in the box? Don’t even know what to say to that
-
Think it would only be a good thing for them to be promoted like us getting CL football. Both clubs would need to strengthen respectively. I think Sunderland would be massive odds on to finish 20th if they were to get promoted but would it be all that different if it happened in a year or two years’ time?

That’s class like, Moke was always a good lad
-
Yeah, Spurs have been a fading force since Poch left. Their team is far too reliant on Kane, one injury to him or a sale and they’re going to slip even further away from the top six. I think Chelsea will be back to being a top six team as soon as Poch goes there. It’s pretty sickening considering how much they’ve failed but if they get him I think the club will stabilise. Liverpool are an interesting one. They’re in the middle of a rebuild. If they don’t get their transfers right in the summer I think they could struggle again next season

It’s so fucking lazy. It’s a line he can trot out again and again and again. Imagine taking that moment of footballing genius and that’s the story you go with
-
It’s probably been mentioned multiple times over in the last 24 hours but this lad is world class already. That run yesterday couldn’t have been done by anyone else. There are great physical dribblers and pacy dribblers. Kvaradona is class, Messi is the best ever, despite having faded with his dribbling due to age. There’s no one that could have done what he did yesterday. He can be at the top for the rest of his career, it’s frightening how we have managed to land him

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

Twins must be utterly brutal in the first 6 months, and then get a fair bit easier from 12 months? I often hear that when twins get to toddler age they are easier in some ways than just having one as they entertain one another so much -
Paully becoming a meme is what this season deserves

He seems like he has a fantastic attitude on the pitch. He dives too much for my liking but his head doesn’t drop. He seems incredibly well liked, would be a top dressing room addition and he’s extremely talented. Not really sure there are any downsides to him as a signing? Main one is that he’s probably not an absolute priority but he’s so flexible and until very recently we were crying out for more goals and creativity -
A message to VAR, second video is the succinct version:

Aye, plays faultlessly last season from the off. His reputation has actually suffered while being on the bench I’d say. I don’t think Targett had a good game last night and I don’t think he’ll be our main left back next season but I don’t think Burn will be either. Targett has been a great professional and really consistent. I’m sure if he’d been match fit all season he’d have put in the same solid performances as last season
-
Aye, we can’t afford to sleep on Brentford
-
Any Everton fan that had walked out before his assist should be ashamed of themselves. They missed footballing genius
-
Who wants to join Eddie’s devastating mags? Pedro to Brighton is such a smart transfer for them
-
What’s he saying? I’ve switched to the snooker
-
Not getting Ekitike was the best thing that could have happened in the summer window. I’ve said it a bunch of times but this lad will win games for us on his own again and again. He has everything to be in the world class forwards tier for a decade to come
-
This lad’s attitude and spirit embodies who we are on the pitch these days. Couldn’t love him more than I do
-
Outrageously awful performance from Marriner, needs to taken out to pasture

Aren’t they meant to give warnings for explicit material? That assist should have had an NSFW at the very least
