  1. Personally think Ramos is made for us, much more conventional striker than Isak so would be a good replacement for Wilson. Isak and Ramos could definitely play together and do so better than Isak and Wilson as Wilson doesn’t have the same pace and movement at this stage
  2. I like Simon Brotherton and some of the other MOTD commentators, at least one if not both Steve’s. Mowbray’s fine etc
  3. What the fuck is going on in football governance? Some extremely dodgy stuff happening
  4. Got one that fits a ten year old version of me. Looking forward to my daughters being old enough to wear it
  5. Recency bias. He’s maybe forgotten who Willock is

Beth’s motivational and upbeat attitude would be worth its weight in gold too
  7. £75,000 for Jonjo, £100k for Wood. Why couldn’t we have gotten rid of a couple of others to them too
  8. I remember the post, I responded to it. Would be disgusted
  9. Typically grim stuff unfortunately. Fuck knows where the truth lies in it all but I can’t imagine there are many people in positions of power in KSA whose hands are clean
  10. I would not want to see Jonjo line up for us ever again
  11. Brazilian DM, take our money Atalanta
  12. I agree actually related to Barnes. He’s an outlier of a signing. He’s not someone I expect to improve a lot and not someone who can play multiple roles or increase his value. I don’t think his value will drop significantly but it was an odd signing. I like him and see immediate value to him as a signing but we needed a RW not a LW so everything about that signing made no sense compared to every other signing we’ve made
  13. Swear to god these people don’t actually follow football other than some of the narratives flying around
  14. Everything related to transfers is targeted towards long-term. Both in terms of signing young players with significant room for improvement and increases of value. I think they’re looking at players and saying - “In three year’s time, will this player be a better player than they are today and will their value be higher?” If not, no interest. So you have that to contend with alongside FFP, alongside other clubs not wanting to deal with us. That’s a narrow pool of players to be looking at. I think the approach is extremely sound long-term. My only criticism would be that we’re not taking punts on cheaper players like Brighton have, for players who haven’t quite broken through yet
  15. Wish Mourinho would enter the international manager game and fuck off out of league football
  16. That is by some distance the most logical thing to do in my opinion
  17. Just checked and the borough borders have changed. Hammersmith is now a Labour MP. Fulham and Chelsea is Greg Hands (Tory)
  18. When I lived in Hammersmith and Fulham borough it was ridiculously Tory from an electoral voting perspective. this would have been 2011-2014. I’d be amazed if the MP wasn’t Tory

We signed Bruno during a relegation battle. Of course, theres the potential that our best players may be more open to leaving but it’s hard to see how we progress without a degree of selling players. None of our fringe players have value whereas our best players have huge value. I want to be in Europe again next season but if we’re not, I think we’ll have a great league season next year
  20. We got top four last season and we’d be there again or at least top five if we’d not had Europe and a broken squad to contend with. Villa will make it this season. Brighton aren’t far off either. The league is changing. A few years of the “top six” dropping out of the champions league and it could all turn extremely quickly
  21. I disagree, obviously we’re all making predictions here but I think Chelsea and Man City will face proper sanctions within the next three years. I think our infrastructure and our commercial revenue will continue to grow massively. We already have many of the pieces in place. The stadium is a question mark long term. It’s just about building. These other clubs might try to put up as many barriers as they can but it’s not going to count for shit as time goes on
  22. Leffe’s a very even handed person. I think he’s spoken fairly in all honesty and I don’t see it purely as self-preservation. I think it’s fair enough if our fans are angry about 14 nightmarish years which are then followed by being financially hamstrung for the first time in football’s 140-150 years but I don’t think we have anything to worry about. It’s much shitter for almost every other club outside the top six
  23. I’d prefer us to rise playing by their rules in all honesty. It’ll be all the sweeter. I’d love success but I don’t want it above all else. If we could buy Mbappe and Musiala, would I want us to? Sure, but it would feel a bit cheap winning something straight away. I have no issue with us arriving in the next five years. If these barriers meant we weren’t progressing after five years then I’d feel very differently though
  24. And you sir, are you waiting to receive Jessie Lingard’s limp penis? New page Limp penis
  25. At least Man City keep buying well. Chelsea are a shambles and still haven’t really faced any long-term impact of being a financial and operational mess despite having everything weighted in their favour
