  1. Look at your league games man in the last ten. The spurs result was impressive and a good performance. 2. Mostly one goal wins. Like watching Pardew spawn his way to fifth

    Football pet hates

When commentators sing the praises of goalkeepers after a strike is rifled straight at them and they save it, even though they barely knew anything about it
  4. Antony in such a huff there, looked like a teenager coming off, getting told off by his mum
  5. Steve McLaren looks like he’s been baked in the oven
  6. Wolves look so poor in terms of their fitness here, totally gassed, making terrible passes all over the pitch
  7. Man U don’t look like a top 4 side, neither do Liverpool or Chelsea
  8. Been such a shame for him that this season has been a write-off so far. I don’t think Burn or Targett are long-term options at left back but Targett proved himself to be an extremely consistent performer last season. I know he’s had injuries this season but it’s odd how little he’s played
  9. I thought he was going to tear it up in the league à la Suarez, but he’s been more like Alfonso Alves in terms of output
  10. Can imagine Ten Hag having zero tolerance for things that take Rashford’s focus away from football. No charity work, activism or Good Samaritan behaviour allowed. Hopefully Rashford decks him, hands in a transfer request and comes to Newcastle because it’s one of the most deprived areas in the country
  11. Agreed, ASM is at his best when teams come out to play against us. I think Leeds won’t sit with a low block so I think ASM could be lethal today
  12. This looks nailed on to me unless West Ham’s form picks up dramatically. Think Moyes would find it very tough at Everton right now though with the lack of quality in their squad
  13. I imagine his approach has been: I need to be the most important person at the club I need to ensure I’m never undermined I need to paid sums that have never been seen before This has helped his ego to deal with the fact that he isn’t a world class player any longer
  14. Bruno is like a mythical figure, everything he says and does is above and beyond your expectations. There’s no way we’re not winning a trophy in the next three years if he remains with us

From what I saw of Simms earlier in the season, he looked like a really good player. held the ball up extremely well, had a great understanding of where his teammates were and how to pick a pass. His goal return has been good too. Will be a huge loss for them in lots of ways
  16. Thomas Frank is doing some job at Brentford. Will be interesting to see how they cope when Toney gets an inevitable ban though
  17. That ‘Here we go!’ has the least amount of energy behind it of any Romano transfer posts ever
  18. I tell you what, the standard of comedies on British TV has dropped in recent years, but Nunez is doing his absolute best to right that wrong
  19. Castagne has been so sloppy from what I’ve seen this second half
  20. Dewsbury-Hall’s an odd one like
  21. Really? When he took over they weren’t in the play off spots and they are currently. Tonight’s obviously a poor result but overall I thought their form had picked up a bit
