Celtic are disgusting to watch but Barcelona have been wank by their standards, really wank
-
aye, a real classic there. Hope Michael McIntyre was attending the game that day as that'll have taught him a thing or two about observational humour
-
Never get tired of that image or the one on 'clutching at straws'. There was another one by the straws makers but I cant remember what it was, all class though

If he's performing well, he should be treated like everyone else who plays well. Whatever happened in the past is over, it was a situation that still makes me feel sick but it's not the lad's fault. Would be great for him and us as well if he actually delivered something so that the whole thing doesn't turn out to be our worst transfer ever What makes you feel sick His and Gonzalez being brought in and Keegan going - I'm a keegan lover and I'll always be gutted about all those goings on

Hope it's true, he's a really good lad and would have been one of the top three players in the championship this season barring his injury

The advantage rule should be as simple as this: if impeded, you should be allowed to continue as long as you can. If it turns out that several seconds later you put in a bad ball, you shouldn't get another chance because of the original foul. If Johnson had been fouled and it had affected him to the degree that he couldn't continue his run, get a cross in or is off balance due to the foul and messes something up, then they should definitely get a free kick. He had about five seconds after a little clip on his heel, he wasn't impeded at all from this point on and carried on in exactly the same manner he would have done without a clip, he then messed up a pass. Not a case for giving them a free kick - Atkinson you giant nob end
-
Campbell seems like a very 'complete' footballer. Doesn't mean he's going to make it but he has a lot to his game whether it be pace, some tricky movement, his crossing, clever passing. If he ever does make the step up, he's going to be very interesting to watch

Was explaining this to a mate I was watching the match with. He was like, nah, it seems fair enough (Coventry fan). I then explained it to him and he was like, oh yeah, I guess that is two opportunities. This lad's intelligent as well, I honestly can't believe how fucking stupid people can be, especially about football
-
I'd laugh for a minute or so then feel sorry for them. Embracing each other? What a wonderful moment for them to share
-
Standard Pardew media bullshit. I love his honest approach and how fair he often is but he comes out with a load of shit. Generally don't mind though
-
Hate it when people talk too much about riling fans up. Having some chat an making some stupid comments shouldn't result in people wishing someone dead.
-
The wrong fucking sport, if that's a red card, football's truly become a joke
-
Think people are judging Adam Johnson's sunderland career pretty quickly here. We doubled up on him loads, even tripled one time I remember. He's a really good player in my opinion and will shine through after a while
-
what? someone threw a medicine ball made out of lead at cabaye
-
Agreed that you won't find any unblemished, just impossible and no one's looking for that. What needs to be stamped out and the refs who must be put out of a job at this level are the people who make systematic errors throughout games to the degree that half their decisions are just wrong and change the course of matches. Martin Atkinson should, like anyone else, be held accountable and if I had any power I'd be making sure he didn't officiate at PL level again
-
You're a f***ing embarrassment to this forum. knee-jerker with no analytic capacity or balanced judgement
-
Used to like Stubbs as well, when he wasn't on ESPN. How wrong I was, shit stirrer who knows nothing about the game so picks on insignificant incidents and talks them up because he knows nothing.
-
Really? Can't stand that fucking shit. Just watch the game and support the team, idiots
-
Think it's a mixture of Tiote's reputation. He's not even a dirty player, very unlikely he'd injure someone, only thing is, he does a lot of stupid lunges, pushes and stuff which rack up pointless yellows. Also, I honestly think people are too fucking soft. Let's say the Tiote had taken the ball and then Fletcher's leg, no way would it have been a red, maybe not even a yellow but he misses the ball by half a second, is not looking to take Fletcher's leg at all and gets a red for it. Turning the game into a farce if that's a red
-
Honestly, it's days like this when you see pundit after pundit and ex-player after ex-player call it a red that I wonder what the fuck is going on in football. Red cards are for dangerous play not trying to kick a football and not even knowing where the opposition player is, I'm not going to stop being pissed off about that decision and many others today for some time.
-
Love him to bits, a wonderful player who does more than anyone else in our team to make us play as a team and look like we know what we're doing on a football pitch. Hero
-
Not going to fault the players or the manager today, honestly don't have a problem with anything we did. Disgusted by the officials
