Yeah, not really sure why. I couldn't remember how good some of the earlier ones were and I didn't want to go for Cole, Baines, Evra. Was more a random selection but I like Harte
-
Ketsbaia celebration, Shearer's everton goal, the Man U 5-0, Shay Given's save and then for the team: Schmeichel Barton Ferdinand Bruce Harte Ronaldo Scholes Makelele Ginola Shearer Cole
-
In that Jan transfer window I really wanted him. He looked like such a class player before the horrific injuries, such a shame for the lad
-
It's not mathematically in our own hands because Spurs can score as many as we do in any of their forthcoming games. Mathematically it's not in our hands because they have the potential to score goals out of our hands. Let's go back to this thread being class now
-
Unbelievable is right but this is a shite argument
-
This. Have a browse through this thread, and watch it develop. http://www.villatalk.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=53355&postdays=0&postorder=asc Pricks, hated them ever since that game. Would love them to go down, there are posts in that thread with the typical bullshit line 'the fans have too much power', they're deluded and such like. Fuck off, just reading that makes me want them to go down all the more
-
He plays nothing like Obertan. His weaknesses are the same as obertan, has pace to burn but spurns his opportunities. Often plays the wrong the ball inexplicably and his final delivery is really poor. They're similar in those ways. Essentially, their main use to their respective teams is to break quickly and deliver a final ball, they both fail aain and again at this

I'd take third like
-
Class, played Wigan. They deserve to stay in the league for their previous few matches and the shit decisions against them. Also, Martinez has held himself with good grace all along, good lad
-
I think most people's problem is that you keep calling people idiots and going on like you know everything about what's going on. Generally people don't like being insulted
-
Was pleased we didn't sign him after seeing a handful of performances. Don't think he's ever going to be a class player, far too many basic weaknesses in the same mould as Obertan
-
As an aside, I love how mentally weak Arsenal are and how their defensive problems will continue next season. I really don't think they're going to challenge for another title again under Wenger (that's not to say they'll challenge under someone else as they won't, I think he's the man for them still)
-
Truth spoken
-
HBA should return the favour and welcome him to NUFC
-
That song fucking nails down a lot of Arsenal fans I know. So piss-weak they can't dislodge shit off the inside of a toilet.
-
Completely lost his touch and never seems to have any time on the ball. I still don't think he's come close to some of the stuff he showed prior to the injury, a massive shame
-
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17731522 Idiots, like that will get them anywhere
-
Looks like such a nice guy, well done everyone involved
-
? I'm sure we're only looking because he's not shite
-
If he does want to stay, it tells you everything you need to know about him
-
It's actually just ridiculous when you look at it a step back. Relegated, come back up and get rid of a manager who's a success, get rid of your star striker. Next season, in the running for CL football with players that are of that standard. Just amazing, whatever happens this has been one of my favourite ever seasons as a supporter
-
That was painful, can't stand this man. Kevin day should be locker in a cell and beaten up on a daily basis by a different set of supporters
-
Wank talk on motd here as usual. Young is falling before there's any contact and he steps on the guy's foot. Fucking disgusting. If it was one if our players I wouldn't be happy about it at all
-
He makes mistakes and gets blamed for them while others can make the same mistakes and get away with making them. Is that easier to understand? Mick's got a point, defensively Simpson just about makes the grade. Notfor a top six team though. Unfortunately as a footballer he's barely a premier league player. He can't cross, dribble, shoot or handle too much pressure. I think he gets too much flack but he's still not a good enough footballer if we want to go for top six year on year
-
Yes still, there's no pressure. Let's just tear into stoke and wigan, two wins (will be tough) and we're in an absolutely amazing position
