  1. Shame like, you have some likeable players and whatever people think of Coyle, he's a really nice guy. Best of luck post-monday
  2. I was beginning to have a soft spot for Wolves whilst Mccarthy was there, but they can disappear into the Championship and bumble about there for the next five years. Terrible decisions from above
  3. I think you'll stay up mate but do you think if you do, there'll be big changes at Bolton over the summer to change things or do you think getting Holden and Lee back will make a big difference? I know you said earlier in the season that you thought Ngog had been playing well but surely the thing you're missing most of all is a genuine goalscorer?
  4. HAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH What's the point of even following football if you can't understand what's going on on the pitch. "no assists, no goals" Downing against "Broken leg, free scoring, incredibly player" Arfa
  5. Chelsea are such a dogshit club. If we can knock them down to the sixth this season, it will be a victory for football
  6. Hope people don't gloss over the fact that this would mean Wigan would be just a few minutes from 3 points and potentially cementing safety. Bullshit arguments technology
  7. Just score a goal Wigan please
  8. Dem BaBa nails it in one. To be honest, NUFC are just a very unusual club. We have the potential to collapse incredibly quickly and also the potential to rebuild incredibly quickly
  9. Such a joke of a player. Has good technique and is very good in the air, can cross the ball well as well but somehow manages to play shit almost all the time.
  10. That's what you get for calling your manager a cunt
  11. Hope Saggy gets done today, love seeing his face stretch beyond its already absurdly saggy limits
  12. Where's Thomas gone by the way? He's missed all the fun in the past few weeks
  13. They're all fucking class. Can't believe how many players I love in this team. When we score it's awesome looking at how happy they all are
  14. I agree, sadly, I think he's become more defensive and passive-aggressive with time. He always feels like people are out to get him and now that Liverpool are under-performing he's having to become even more aggressive. I can't remember his personality too much from his time here, I remember a stubborn streak and him getting easily riled but he's an absolute state at the moment

I would say Perch along with Guthrie and Raylor make it more likely Obertan can go on to be a good player for us. Pardew has got a lot out of players deemed not good enough, including Best. Saylor was brilliant before his injury too. It's far, far too early to write off Obertan (or Gosling for that matter). Both are still young and finding their feet. It's the first season at a new club for Obertan and Gosling has started about 6 games in 2 years. You're completely right about players coming good after poor starts. I always rated Best and Saylor to put in good performances but I did not think Perch or Guthrie would improve to the levels they have. As for Gosling, I definitely think he'll come good. My problem with Obertan is that he makes the wrong decision far too often and it's not that he's technically flawed, not at all, it's that mentally he isn't there on a confidence level or a football-understanding level. I hope he comes through and improves but if I had the choice I'd put other players ahead of him like Ferguson who I think will improve much quicker. If we get into Europe, I really hope Obertan gets games and manages to develop

If RTG was a movie, it would be Shutter Island. There's a real sense that at any moment, reality blurs with some kind of mackem sub-reality, it gets ugly in there at times, real ugly

    Alan Pardew

In fairness, it was difficult for the fans to get behind Perch when for the start of his career, all he did was mistime challenges and pick up cards. Hardly surprising that most didn't think he'd make it, full credit to the lad for upping his game. He's been one of our top 3 performers in the last four-five games. As for Obertan, I'd never boo him at a game or applaud him coming off but the reality is, he's shown very, very little to suggest he can come good here. He'd require a Perch transformation and I'd say that's very unlikely, especially if we continue to do good business and marginalise him further
  18. What the hell? Were they joking? What it was, was Cisse getting his right leg in a poor position but somehow managing to carve out the perfect strike despite his balance being wrong. Was a stunning strike

I'd really like just a calm mackem on here who doesn't try to make jokes or WUM or any of that shit. Just someone who is able to watch football matches and talk about them fairly. Instead, we always get these hyper, chronically deluded/hypocritical mackems who end up getting banned for being bellends

I've already got my green-tinted contact lenses ready for the summer transfer window. I just hope they go for someone like Beckford or Rodriguez.
