Thought he looked sharp when he came on, lots of one touch passes. Never seen him in the shape he’s in
-
I need to see that clip if that’s true
-
Yeah. There’s no doubting he has a manic positive type of energy, but it’s what makes him so amazing. Must be such an amazing teammate to have, super supportive despite being world class
-
I actually think if he gets a bit of time and space he can deliver really nice passes, he’s got good vision and chips the ball well. I’m not as convinced by his long range passing and when he’s under a lot of pressure but it’s really good to see him playing better and better every week. His effort is exceptional and he’s proven he can be a part of this squad for a long time to come
-
Nah, I reckon Moyes has a lot of good will left due to previous with both West Ham and Everton. Hassenhutl is done for though
-
Aye, he’s lethal running onto balls in behind with his pace. We have Bruno, Trippier and Botman who can all deliver outstanding lofted balls over the top, should be targeting this as an area for Willock to keep advantage of
-
Don’t know about you lads but I’m absolutely sick of this +17 goal difference defensive mentality
-
It wasn’t a clean contact but he definitely meant to place it there, he fully deserves the goal and I hope we see him getting into those positions more and going for goal
-
2-0 win, Anderson goal and Wood to back up today with another finish
-
Yeah, physically I don’t think I’ve seen him impose himself like that before. He’s learning from Bruno and Big Jow on how to use his body to either draw fouls or shrug people off with ease
-
He’s fucking class, such a shame he’s at the tail end of his career. We need to get a quality young right back in who he can help mould before he hangs up his boots. The one thing you can’t replicate easily is his ability to deliver a dead ball into a dangerous area accurately. It always gives us a great option
-
We weren’t at our best today, with a different manager we could have wilted easily after misplacing a bunch of passes and getting caught several times but our energy levels were fantastic throughout and we continued to play aggressively on the counter. This man is the best thing that’s happened to this club since Keegan

Not a vintage Bruno game, but a great goal. He’s probably suffering with newborn sleep starting to turn to shit
-
Was great to see the other lads so happy for him
-
Thought he was too complacent on the ball a fair few times, lucky we were against poor attacking opposition
-
Really happy he got his goal even though it wasn’t a clean strike. Thought he was overall our best player on the pitch today
-
Strange game like, we played some really nice balls in behind and it was great to see Wood and Willock bag goals but it felt quite disjointed all game long. Not too fussed though, we had a lot more quality than them and it showed in the end
-
Our passing in transition and midfield generally has been really poor. We did manage to turn it around a bit after half an hour but we need to control the game a lot better in the second half
-
Willock’s touch and little flicks + runs have been very classy today
-
I thought Everton would be fine because they have a good team spirit and very supportive home crowd. However, if they don’t start finding some goals they’re going to get sucked into it. There’s nowhere near enough quality in that first 11 to be comfortable. Villa will be fine now Emery’s there, they’ve got a top 10 squad I’d say, or top 12 at worst
-
I mean, when he’s forced to he plays lovely assists but if he has the option, he tries to go for it himself
-
I’d be worried if I was an Everton fan, they’ve got so few goals in their side and they’re not even that solid at the back either
-
Outstanding goal all round
-
I know Maddison is a great player but he’s pretty selfish on the ball. Not sure I want a player who wants to try and do it mostly himself
-
This game has been full of awful finishing, save for that incredible Tielemans goal
