I’ve got nothing against debate and people being critical whilst backing it up but I can’t stand the lads who have an agenda and pop up when it suits to spout negativity, or the people who lose their heads after a run of two bad results

Was looking back through the old pages in the thread and a lot of the naysayers and angry men don’t appear to post much anymore, it’s class

Wilson rested I reckon, Wood deserves a start in the cup after so long out and just getting a good goal
-
Anderson’s going to have a cracking first half, guaranteed
-
Personally think that’s a quality line up to be putting out, especially with Chelsea at the weekend. Bench is very strong but I think we have enough on the pitch to win it without the big names. Big Jow for a goal and Anderson to get an assist. Hopefully we win convincingly but Olise scores so we get another one of his interviews

Can I get some page references for some anti-Howe takes? Trying to remember what my take was, think I was fairly supportive once Emery dropped out but I think most in the board were, weren’t they?

Absolutely love hearing about ££M cash injections

Wor Flags: visit worflags.org.uk/donate to support future displays

I know it’s been mentioned elsewhere and probably in here but I’d love a Jonas flag, with the Spider-Man mask on, and then strings of spider webs could spring out from it connected to another flag of Colo, perhaps the image of him choking that pre-pubescent lad in the friendly -
Fuck, that’s absolutely awful
-
He certainly doesn’t look as sharp as before, but he plays in a side that make few chances. He’s still great in the air but he’s almost entirely dependent on Iwobi for playing through balls as they have so few creative players
-
If Calvert-Lewin has another one of his three month injury absences they’re absolutely fucked. They need another striker more than any other side in the league, well Wolves maybe
-
He’s extremely unlikeable, Gordon. Struggling to think of someone else in the league I dislike as much, Bruno Fernandes is up there but I think Gordon’s top

Sorry, I meant compete financially, especially long-term
-
I imagine they’ve got very high standards for owners, they despised the last ones but I’m surprised that they’re not behind these ones considering the successes they’ve had. Realistically I can’t see a way that they’ll be able to ever compete with Man City or us while we both have the current owners in place so they’ll have to continue with their current model even with new owners

Should be behind bars for the rest of his life, the absolute slug
-
That was hilarious from TG, I never watch any of his stuff but I love awful apologies
-
All you can eat Nando’s lifetime card has to be a non-negotiable for some players
-
Horrific, I’m definitely going to have a different experience with this World Cup than any before. I’m looking forward to watching our players perform but normally I’d be excited about watching every single minute of football I could manage
-
I’d like to see Anderson start here like, if he doesn’t start this match then a championship loan in January makes the most sense for his development. I know he’ll be getting great coaching from Howe but he needs minutes playing alongside that

Seven bags for seven days seven days is one week one week is roughly a quarter of a month A quarter of a billion is £250m who costs £250m? Mbappe? We’re signing Mbappe? Solved it

I think he burnt out at Bournemouth because he was working within such a limited financial system in order to keep them progressing. He got them as far as they possibly could but he always wanted more. Now, he can go as far as he wants with us with no restraints and I think he’s maybe better at delegating than he used to be. I don’t think he’s going to burn out here
-
I agree that if he’s here in three year’s time he will likely eclipse Bobby and Keegan because there’s no way we’re not going to be top 4 in three year’s time and a force in the cups. I genuinely think we’ll win something with him in these next three years. The only thing that could go wrong is if he doesn’t get backed but I’ve got no concerns about that at all. He’s absolutely fucking class and like he said in the podcast, his greatest strength is improving players. Who else improves players to the degree that he does, whilst also instilling huge confidence in them and working out perfect tactical systems? I love him

Not even going to click on that as I can’t read the Chronicle on my phone without wanting to smash my phone’s screen in. What’s the gist? He wanted to play for Liverpool because he came to SJP? How does that get spun?

Agree on Coady and Henderson, there’s no way Henderson should be getting a game for England now even as a substitute and I say that as someone who has always rated him. I think Rashford deserves to go as he offers something different to the other forwards
