  1. This is brilliant news, he's really starting to press on which he had to given his age. Like he said a few days back, he's only started a few reserve games but this should propel him a bit closer to the first team. Would love him to get some minutes and play with that kind of youthful confidence that many lose
  2. To be honest, it's not even funny. It's one of the main reasons they're now a damn good club. Constantly rip people off.
  3. Can't fucking wait for qpr to get relegated. What an embarrassment to the league. If they get relegated, that club is fucked for a long long time
  4. This is sick to be honest, I'm sorry but the financial market in football is a disgrace. if FFP is not seriously enforced then football's taken another dark turn. City man, what a bunch of disgusting pricks - buying all these players they don't even need, just destroying the market for other teams. This has turned into a rant and I don't even care, just a complete joke
  5. Really don't mind that transfer at all, I don't think he's a top four striker. He destroyed us at White Hart Lane and has some amazing matches in a season but he goes missing too much for me. The Modric loss will significantly reduce their offensive skill that it'll have a big knock on effect to all the remaining oplayers
  6. Shit club, so poor. That Fernandes bloke is a fucking idiot
  7. Sick to fucking death of them getting huge money for their transfers. They're in such a good position financially because of that master of business Levy

Stockholm is a class city, absolutely love the way it's laid out. Favourite city after Edinburgh. In fairness, Newcastle is obviously a pretty attractive option to footballers as over the years we've attracted exceptionally good players. I think Newcastle is a much nicer city than Manchester and they don't seem to have too many problems picking up players
  12. I like Moyes and I like the fact they're not ruining the game through over-spending on shite. They deserve a lot of respect but I don't want them anywhere near us come the end of the season. We need a Ben Arfa thunderbastard when we head over to Goodison
  13. Just wanted to say - as you're getting a little bit of abuse about these blogs - that I enjoy reading them Pilko. Keep them up mate
  14. Nothing agreed yet though quite likely. Stoke want an option to buy, Spurs want to leave it out at this time. If Luongo does as well at Ipswich as everyone expects, Hudd could go next summer and Luongo take his place in the squad. Rated as highly as Caulker was this time last year. Think Huddlestone would be a nice signing for Stoke - a player with some actual technical ability

Think you're pushing it a bit there. London is a lot like anywhere else. It's the busyness and the size that make it a difficult place to live but there are large areas which are beautiful with people who are very much the same as in Newcastle/Edinburgh (the only other two places I've lived). The tube is ugly and around Bank you'll find a lot of twats but if you can handle a fast pace then it can be a really exciting place to live. I love the countryside however and would love to live in a rural spot later on in life

That's a huge contradiction. Someone mentioned Zaha on the other page, I actually think he'd be a decent acquisition, definitely expecting him to make the PL grade at some point this season or next.

Lived in London for two years now. Pretty much really disliked it for the first 6 months due to location. I find that the longer you stay here, the better it becomes. I wish I had more cash and more free time but that's the working/living world. I would happily stay here until I was in my early thirties but then look to get out. Can see it being a massively attractive option to foreigners.
  18. Don't know how I feel about Everton starting the season well - this better mean they fuck the end up
  19. He's quality, funny as fuck, loves the club and is actually really talented. If he gets a full season he'll show how good a player he is

Who's laughing now, cock nose? Hope Pardew doesn't read that, could really hurt his feelings
  21. Think I'd go with Ferguson on the left, Marv on the right but apart from that, the side's decent consortium. Would definitely be playing Campbell at some point, especially if we take a lead. He'll almost definitely play Obertan though

I agree about pinpointing most important players being stupid but I think the link between getting to CL football sometimes requires an attacking player that is really rare. Someone who drives the team towards seemingly unlikely victories. I think HBA is capable of that in the way that his individual talent can win matches in a way others maybe can't

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Do people think he's the most important player in the squad as regards our chances of getting CL football (by chances I mean, very unlikely chances)?
  24. I was trying to find a good derp image for that. Think Jdc broke on that post
  25. Personally don't have a problem with any thread being derailed as long as it's buy decent debate. No thread gets derailed for more than 3-4 pages anyway. The worst thing though is when there are three-four pages of puns, wouldn't mind that being outlawed
