He just perfectly embodies who Newcastle have been in my lifetime
-
It’s absurd how hard he kicks that ball. An utterly ridiculous talent. How can someone be that good at kicking a ball as well as being one of the best dribblers in the world
-
The issue with Mount is he’s so tactically inflexible. He can only really play one position and that one is fairly unorthodox. He’s not a winger, he’s not a CM and he’s not a playmaker. He’s an attacking midfielder who isn’t really a playmaker
-
Seriously hope he's not on the brink. If anything he deserves a contract extension for bringing Man U back to where they belong
-
Could honestly watch Limmy clips all day long
-
Better finisher, not as good movement and link up play but still very good movement and I think his link up play is actually underrated as well
-
What the fuck is going on with his career
-
Can’t beat a bit of forum police, love it
-
Must be rough for Casemiro falling apart at Man U. If he goes to a smaller club it doesn’t get noticed but everyone can see in microscopic detail how badly he’s declined
-
He’s a better finisher than almost all strikers in the league
-
Loath to talk on behalf of someone else but my take is that it’s less about being contrarian and more about always wanting to have a take on things and theorise about the reasons for things and normally those takes come across less like an opinion and often like “this is how it is”. I think the strength of belief that TCD sometimes has in his own takes is why people struggle sometimes and the directness of it

It does feel like he’d be a Death Eater if the option was on the table
-
Antony, Casemiro, Mason Mount and Andre Onana are colossal wastes of money
-
At this stage there is absolutely zero value to us in selling him compared to what we get from him. The only time that it would have made sense was in January. Hopefully he can get himself into the best place mentally and contribute massively to our season

That kick on the corner flag was elite
-
Build him the statue he deserves
-
What’s the consensus among the “but why the fuck did we sign him?” crew these days?
-
I’ll never love him due to his lack of top footballing ability but he’s been a really important player for us and has always given as much as he can and never complained
-
Yeah, that’s fair. I’d say Burn was more important to keeping them out than anyone else but Tino didn’t have any errors that I can remember
