Pardew always was an excellent PR man, and he's playing those same games now with his positive comments about us in the media. It's sad to see some fans take those comments at face value. His stock soars via association with us now that we're back trying to compete at the top of the game. He would love to be a permanent fixture as the go-to NUFC pundit on Talksport or Sky - in addition to the the obvious incentive there, it retroactively assigns him a greater reputation and credibility in relation to our club and goes some way to rewriting just how immiserating so much of his time with us was.
