  1. http://www.fifa.com/world-match-centre/nationalleagues/nationalleague=italy-serie-a-2000000026/news/newsid/243/531/9/ 1m loan fee, 4.5m to make it permanent.
  2. They have a 4.5m option to make the deal permanent so the ball's in their court.
  3. I'd take him on: Initial transfer fee of £1 £500k per 10 games (up to 100 games) £1m per 10 goals Basic wages of £1 £50k per goal, £20k per assist £5m + a 50% cut of Stevie's pay if he headbutts Pardew
  4. There is no competition more catered to the Far East audience than the PL. The other leagues, even the CL, lack the same coverage and have the same problem with 'late' kick-offs. I'd not sacrifice my sleep to catch a 3am CL or Bundesliga match for instance. Wide broadcast to his target audience, with big TV money to boot. I don't believe he will throw away that to take over Rangers. All he wants is their profit margins, which he will get sooner or later.
  5. The likes of Rodgers above Ancelotti. Wenger and Benitez at 19, 20.
  6. Ryder would have copied the title wholesale.
  7. Varane, signed for €10 m Mathieu, signed for €20 m Mangala, signed for £32 m Koscielny, signed for £10 m Sakho, signed for £18 m Yanga-Mbiwa, available at a discounted price of £4 m.

Can't wait for the half-time SD special offers.
  10. Stupid France never considered he would have trouble dealing with the aerial fret of CR7.

  15. Good chance for Rooney to draw closer to Charlton's record then.
  16. He was injured at the start of the season and Forest did well without him. It's only natural that Pearce would keep to a winning side and not change things unnecessarily. I believe it was similar last season, when he came in after one of the senior CBs got injured, then did well for the majority of the games until his CB partner sustained an injury towards the tail end of the season. Forest strengthening in his position in the summer and the subsequent lack of playing time also played a part. He did come on in the first half of their last league game so he might be gradually working himself into the team.
  17. Probably to get his lapdogs (odds on Llambias?) in place of the incumbents so that it makes him easier to influence decisions by proxy since he can't raise his stake.
  18. Can't see the SPL being a more attractive advertising vehicle than the PL either. He won't make more money out of their league either. The only question is since he already has the merchandising and the stadium naming rights sorted, why would he see the need to increase his stake and get rid of the CEO? God knows what his plans for Rangers are and how much he would bring them to their knees in order to achieve them.
  19. Should have actively tried to get a loan spell for him. 2013/14 was a total write-off and it's no different this season either. Send him back to Coventry, cover his meager wages or something so that he gets match experience at least. Armstrong also had a waste opportunity when clubs were willing to take him on loan recently. We held him back due to de Jong's injury. He's behind Cisse, Riviere and Ayoze and we play with one striker. The most he could realistically expect is a 'run' in the domestic cups. Look at Spurs sending all their youngsters out whenever there's an opportunity. A number of them came back with match experience and contributed to their first team. Walker, Livermore, Townsend, Rose etc.
  20. :anguish::anguish::anguish::anguish: Why is this person writing single sentence paragraphs? Does he write children books? http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,95522.msg5115485.html#msg5115485 Ryder's an expert in this.

    Yohan Cabaye retires

He seemed to rule out a return to the PL in the same interview btw. There aren't many PL clubs in the CL which would offer him a guaranteed regular spot and pay the kind of money PSG would most likely ask. (need to balance FFP anarl)

    Yohan Cabaye retires

Didn't even know Henderson is their vice-captain now. Suppose their plan is when when Gerrard retires, Henderson will become the main man in midfield. Not suggesting he's a like-for-like replacement mind.
