He said all those things, but not in that order as you suggest, and they were responses to different questions. Are you in politics? http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29472154 How would that be manipulation of any kind if it's a C&P job from the BBC article?

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29472154 He's really not doing himself any favours at all.

This tickled me  The idea of jawdees eating packets of nick nacks and looking through his windows, while he and his family sit fearing for their safety. Recognisable by the 'you just won't leave us alone' banner at the door.

Footballing giants San Marino and Estonia.

Only three CBs in there too. No one else good enough to be called up?
-
Good enough for Man Utd, Man City and Juventus but not good enough for AP.

He's available.

It's seriously taken this s*** with MYM for you to accept what has been accepted truths for almost a decade. Christ Spudil is a legend.

Maybe he means Arsenal Kyiv. We wanted ~8m for him in the summer and London Arsenal would have paid that surely.
-
He was Arsenal's Plan B after Khedira? Wow...

'who else will work for Ashley' 'Pardew has had some undeserved stick' fuckthisshit.gif Surely all those ex-players coming out to defend Pardew recently could only be a PR stunt by the club.

I don't think he will go to the extent of gambling on us going down. He needs the worldwide PL audience to advertise his brand, and losing that would hurt him the most. He probably thinks the situation isn't that dire atm, that one or two wins or flukes would pull us out of danger.

Is there an unwritten rule amongst pundits and explayers that they wont make negative comments against Uk managers?? Hodgson got plenty of stick from the ex-Liverpool players when he was their club manager? I'm sure Moyes wasn't immune to criticism from the Man Utd alumni either. Yeah true... We're not a big club with ex-players everywhere in the media or industry, and 'should know our place'.

Considering the dross this league has, it's not beyond reasonable belief that we would be out of the relegation zone by January. That's probably what Ashley is banking on.

4/10 Swansea (a) 18/10 Leicester (h) 26/10 Spurs (a) 1/11 Liverpool (h) 9/11 WBA (a) 22/11 QPR (h) 29/11 West Ham (a) 2/12 Burnley (a) 6/12 Chelsea (h) 13/12 Arsenal (a) 20/12 Sunderland ( h) 26/12 Man Utd (a) 28/12 Everton (h) 1/1 Burnley (h) 10/1 Chelsea (a) 17/1 Southampton (h) 31/1 Hull (a) Reckon January is the earliest Ashley would realistically do anything.
-
No surprises there. He won't be sacked when a win or two pulls him out of the relegation zone. It all depends on our position after December's run of games.

Had difficulty connecting to the server just a while back.

Last time we went there, a Swansea team without any of their forwards beat us 3-0. So yeah, current standings - Swansea 5th, NUFC 19th.
-
I don't think anything will remotely happen until mid-season the earliest. Best not to expect much leading to inevitable disappointment.
