    As much soul as Whelan.

Martinez. Rejected a far richer and ambitious Liverpool.

Who's Everton gonna attract with no transfer budget and the probable loss of star names like Baines. Will be tough for them after having the same manager going about doing his own stuff and not complaining about the lack of funds for years.

Villa lose to Chelsea on Saturday, we win on Sunday = we're safe. Don't really have to wait til Wigan match. Good luck for the Porto match. Win it to break their unbeaten run and seal your championship there.
  5. I personally think the 'fraudier than Pardew' part will kill bimpy.

    Skilful prick in short.

'Hey Alan, thanks for getting us 2 spots higher. Here's the money. Bye.' Sounds like an idea.

Froggy sounds like he's on the edge. I hope people help him through this.

Reckon he'd take Fellaini and Baines, for sure. Baines yes, Fellaini no. There's no place up front for the big lad plus he doesn't have sufficient technical ability.

Pardew, 8 year contract. Everton. Stability.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Imagine him in this scenario. 'Who's Bob Cass? You're a c***.'

    Alan Pardew

Deserves the job imo. Should take Jonas, Shola and Obertan with him too. FYP.

Didn't expect that. Doubt they were ever gonna let Fergie resign without a plan in place. Most likely his successor would have been settled months ago.

What do people see in Moyes to propose him as a Fergie successor btw? You can make strong cases for the likes of Klopp and Mourinho but certain strong aspects of Moyes' CV aren't particularly complementary to the Man U job.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

It's one of the top jobs in football though.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Reckon it's Klopp imo. Shame that will mean Dortmund losing their manager along with Gotze and possibly Lewandowski this summer.
  18. LRD

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Doubt it will be an ex-Man U player. None of them are ready or good enough atm.

What about Ancelotti? Just signed a new 2 year deal hasn't he? The best manager potentially available would be too get Jupp Heynckes. Proven record, used to pressure cooker environments, not an utter bellwipe. Only 3 years younger than Fergie. Think they will go long-term with a younger manager Fergie can 'mentor' while he still can.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Can't see it myself really, I'd imagine Fergie would someone like Moyes, someone he can mentor more than someone who has already won a fair bit. Same. Man U would want somebody for the long-term that has a focus on young players and the academy imo. That's something you're unlikely to get out of Mourinho.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Good shout. Plays an attractive style and is committed to developing academy players. At a good age so he can form his own legacy. Speaks English well. Loves Dortmund but he can surely be tempted by one of the biggest job in club football.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

His legacy in the Premier League is cast in stone.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Comes at an interesting time where there's a fair few candidates out of contract this summer. Surely they must have a plan in hand before announcing his retirement.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Fair play to him in knowing when to retire so that there's a transition period where he can influence and leave the club in safe hands.
