I cannot understand people being fine with a name change, for any amount of money.

I read that exactly the opposite way. But then I’m choosing to be optimistic about everything right now because I feel we’re due some good times after years of Ashley, Pardew, Kinnear and the like. Definitely reads like he’s ruling out Everton to me.

Help an American, what are “bright red baseball boots“? Why would a footballer be wearing baseball cleats? Or why would tennis shoes be called “baseball boots”? Or something else? I assumed he meant something like Converse boots, or something similar. Ah, so it's more of a Louise Taylor thing than British English. Confusing basketball and baseball. Nah, it is a British English thing. We used to call them baseball boots in the 80s. Before we knew what baseball was. http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/leather-baseball-boots

Good result, 6th place! Rafa > Woy

Normally I’d be upset by this but Perez has been abysmal today. Diame can’t be any worse.

A friend of mine says Jimmy Nail is going to be there with Sting too. But I think she’s lying.

Doubt it. I'll try to keep it updated with the more interesting stuff. What? This'll have made Ryder's month.

Dyer: “A new investor will see the club as a business. They’re not bothered about winning something, they just want to keep churning the money. Arsenal have shown that – they’re happy to come top four – job done. “Knowing the Newcastle fans, would they settle for just that? I think Newcastle staying in the Premier League will just make money with the TV deal.” Shreeves: “I’ve spoken to quite a few Newcastle fans. I was on the train with quite a lot after the Brighton game and they said they’re fed up with this reputation that they believe they have a right to win a trophy or belong alongside Manchester United. That’s a myth. They just want to support their team and see them do well. They do not believe they have any divine right.” Dyer: “I disagree. I disagree. Being there I think they expect to be up there. I’m not saying winning the league but I think the fans think they’re a Champions League team. I honestly believe that. “They were spoiled with Kevin Keegan.” 'Spoiled'? f***ing 'spoiled'? The absolute gaul of that c***. We won f*** all. We've not won f*** all for donkeys years and a few good years and we were spoiled. Wish a snake had bitten him on the cock in that f***ing jungle. Little rat.

What? she clearly doesn't have the capital to buy a football club, those who she represents might but we have no idea who it is atm. But if she's part of said group, then she's one of the buyer's of said group. She's part of the consortium. She's part of the capital stack if she's putting her money in... That financial article a couple of pages back said that she normally puts some of her own money into any deal she’s involved in and there was another report that said that she would want to be chairman. Not sure how credible the last report is though and I can’t seem to find where I read it.
