I think there are so many unknowns and variables due to the World Cup break that this round of games is pretty much a free pass and no-one should be judged on the results. And I’m expecting a few surprising results. But I’m just hoping that our quality in defence will be the difference here, despite rustiness in the squad. Leicester will be rusty too.

I think it was also Maddison also coming massively into form pre- World Cup. If he’s not playing or is rusty then they are going to offer a lot less than they could. Away win.

We are 3rd and Leicester are 13th in the league for a reason. The only reason I can see for folk to be nervous about this is that there’s been a break for the World Cup and that may have affected our preparation, players form etc. If this was pre World Cup I’m sure there wouldn’t be so much nervousness.

I think some need to begin to accept that the club is no longer giving honest injury updates about players and are keeping our cards very close to our chests so that other teams can’t plan. Think it’s triggering some folk a bit that injuries are played down and bland statements are given about return dates and then when they are out longer than people thought they would be it’s seen as absolute doom. I’m not saying what the club are doing with injury info is a bad thing but it is leading some people to fill in the gaps with worst case scenario catastrophisation.
