I can honestly see Pardew saying they were sharper as they'd had more games recently.

He's out of form. He's lacking confidence. He isn't s***. He's still the best we've got though, and no other option other than Shola. I'm not denying any of that, just that he got the chances he's been wanting all season and did nothing with them, in a game we needed to win.
