Caught in two minds about last night. On the one hand. It was far different from our usual Etihad shitshow. We were brave with our press and leaving men up. We were much better on the ball again. Said in another thread that we can’t keep gifting them soft goals. Our record there is horrendous as it is and their team is littered with talent. So the least you can do is make them work hard for openings and goals. Not start games -1. Probably more positive than negative, despite the defeat. A week or two ago, I think most would have expected the usual hammering. Yet we were still in it right until the end. If we want to be challenging for the top 5 and more in the future again. It does feel like we have to start getting results away against the big 4 now and then.
