  1. Depends. If he could stay fit then of course he'd be worth a punt on reasonable wages. However, there's a huge question mark over his knee (?) isn't there? Hence the failed transfer to Stoke City. If he agreed to some sort of contract where he got paid less while his knee is knacked or if he was out long term we could cancel his contract then he'd be a great signing. Not going to happen though
  2. Wasn't Simpson also banging Imogen about 2 or 3 year ago? I remember reading that they were just 'friends'. Good lad
  3. Would nobody take Ba then? Obviously if he does want £80k a week he can fuck right off, but I think he looked a canny player in his short stint in a rubbish side.
  4. Apparently put a £6m price tag on him. About right IMO, but would rather he stayed and I don't think too many clubs will be bidding £6m for him.
  5. Seemed to be? He is hard to understand at times i must say
  6. Parker coming back? Tiote on his way? Good.
  7. I think it is a risk, but what are the the alternatives? We get someone like this M'Bengue lad in from France, for the same price we sell Jose for and he struggles in his first season. Throw Neil Taylor in at the deep end and see how he gets on. Buy someone like Warnock, who has played at this level for some time, but is a distinctly average player. I would say they're all risks as well. I do also feel whilst some of Jose's performances were below par in the latter part of the season, I think we were picking up on his faults more as we were over analysing his game and body language, as we all thought he was off. Maybe keeping Jose for one more season and trying to bring this young Taylor through is what they're planning on doing. Assuming we sign him of course. Jose will not stay man, if he chooses to see out his contract its likely because he knows what another better club will pay him. Not sure how you think its the clubs plan at all given its his decision not theirs..... I'm not saying the clubs plan is to make him stay. But he has said he's going to run his contract down, we're no longer chasing M'Bengue and we're set to sign Taylor for £1m (the first two are just rumours mind). Plan C perhaps, or maybe this Taylor is just his replacement and we're all going to be left feeling a bit depressed. The more likely scenario is: Maybe he's said he'll leave on a free to try and get the club to drop their supposed asking price of £15m, like we'd ever get that for him.

  9. My thoughts exactly. Not guaranteed to progress, but if we signed a few decent players and kicked on next season, then who knows? Maybe he's said he'll leave on a free to try and get the club to drop their supposed asking price of £15m, like we'd ever get that for him.
  10. Hey, I'm new here. Every thread I open there seems to be someone having a row with him, I was just trying to fit in
  11. I didn't realise you can't call someone a c**t on here, so for that I appologise. What I should have said is patronising clown
  12. I assumed it was when the transfer window opened, obviously not you patronising cunt
  13. Tomorrow. Ah ok. Could be true then, can we actually officially confirm him as an NUFC player, or do we have to wait until 1st of July?

    Season Tickets

Aye, he used to sit about 6 rows back from me. Always does the death march when a player is injured, dodgy keeper and various other mental chants/noises. Seen him out in town and at about ten different aways. Blackbin liners, Dustbin Rovers was his chant at Ewood Park He's actually a nice bloke, feckin mental though.
  15. Would you be happy if you signed him though VI? If we got a good price and a decent replacement, I think I would one day enjoy watching him play for Barca. I have said for ages I could see him playing for Barcelona, but I still don't think there is any truth in this.
  16. He's certainly better than Adriano and Maxwell, if Abidal covers centre half or is injured then maybe he will get a run out. I think he would do well there, although I can't see Barca actually being in for him.
  17. Doesn't N'zogbia always say this. Seems far more respecful than usual, remember he was going to sign for Arsenal, PSG, Lyon and whoever else when he was with us. He went to Wigan.
  18. Doesn't the article say he's on holiday in America at the minute? Strange that, I could have sworn he was with the France squad....

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Who wears short shorts? Hatem wears short shorts.
  20. What? Without knowing the details of the contract(s), how the f*** can you make such a sweeping ridiculous statement? Sarcasm, mate. This whole charade will be played out each time one of our established players is due to sign a new deal. Aye, see the post above yours, my appologies. Agree by the way, Colo will be the next to 'reject' his contract.
