Morning Forest fan. No more than 2 from each club.

GK: Sels RB: Aina CB: Saliba CB: Van Dijk LB: Kerkez RW: Salah CM: Tielemans CM: Rice AM: Cunha LW: Mbuemo ST: Isak Honorary mentions to Caicedo, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Wissa, Rogers, Tonali, Murphy (9 goals and 12 assists!) and Hall. Who got injured too early for team of the year. But I thought he was nailed on for the LB spot before that. EDIT - I have shoehorned in Mbuemo a bit. The 3 behind Isak can interchange. So I’ve not gone full Garth Vader.

I’m not on about his lack of goals. It’s his all round play, speed, dribbling and how he often seems to be on his heels. So unlike him. He isn’t even getting many good chances of late. He was snatching at them a lot earlier in the season. But he was still getting 2-3 decent chances a game a lot of the while.
-
Whether you think it was mind games or not. He missed the game at Anfield with a groin problem and has had them in the past. Don’t think it’s a coincidence, personally.
-
Exactly. None of this holier than thou shite. We boo most of our ex-players. Not saying I or posters on here always join in every time. But I can genuinely see why they would be fucked off. I know a fair few Liverpool fans who are dead sound and actual family links or Scousers. They’ve said from early on of the 3, he is the one they think will go and the one they can more afford to lose. Huge loss IMO and they have a fair few that need upgrading next season. Interested to see how they go.

What?! Spot on with the first bit. But Bradley worse defensively than TAA? Absolutely not. You can show all your FBref, XgA and statto nonce stuff to disprove this if you want. But I’ll use my eyes.
-
Nah. I can relate to that response. Liverpool are a massive club, TAA comes across as a bit of an egg and he has done the typical Real Madrid transfer thing. Run your contract down whilst stringing your club along so you can join those cunts on a free. Real Madrid are a far more loathsome club than Liverpool

I mean. I don’t think it’s as much of a position of need as others on here. There are 3-4 areas I would look to strengthen ahead of GK. However, all of the links to Trafford seem pretty heavy and have never gone away. FWIW, all the journos seem to be briefing that we are looking for a keeper. I’ve said it over and over on here. You would gain a lot from a keeper that is better with the ball. But I don’t think it’s as easy as some suggest to match or better what Pope is good at. So you’d more than likely gain in some ways and lose in others.
-
Yeah. If he was born 10-15 years earlier. He’d be considered elite. As it is, he is probably the worst ball playing keeper in the top two leagues!
-
Said in the match thread. Chelsea are snide as fuck and Brooks often let it slide. Whether it was the Harry Kane for every header (why do you think Neto was so concerned about Tino). Or the Fernandinho special of stopping a break with a blatant foul. They did it all game. Caicedo has the same magic anti-yellow card cloak as Casemiro. Could have been booked a good 4 times or more
-
Probably the fact he constantly fucked up his shot, touch, pass or cross every time he got in and around the box
-
He’s been miles off it since the final. Has to be playing through something. As I’m not having it’s all down to form or our service to him.
-
I thought the game passed him by, personally. I know they had 10. But their system must be hard to press against and they have some quality players on the ball. So I can sort of understand it when he has come off the bench and we have changed formation mid-game. He was playing against two players who cost £100 odd mil each and arguably the better one of the 3 in Lavia. Who was a bargain at £50 odd mil. Big learning curve for him.
-
Quietly very good today. Little things like coming for some crosses early and the quick throw out to Tino that got us up the pitch for the opening goal. Two smart stops and all. I think it’s a given that he’ll be replaced in the summer. But he was quality today when needed.
-
The way Barnes has been from West Ham away onwards. It’s mad how bad he was today. Even if he was just playing an average game. He would have had a few goal involvements. Just constantly made the wrong decision or had a shit touch/played a shit pass. He’ll come back from this. He was still finding some great positions in that inside channel again and is still really direct and purposeful with his play.
-
First half - some of the best stuff we’ve played all season. Second half - if there was a blueprint of how NOT to play against 10 men. That was it Results are all that matter now. Just got to get OVER THE LINE @Alan Pardew™️
-
Miley. Absolute nails
-
This is the wrong game for Barnes to turn into Obertan. Been so sloppy by his usual clinical standards.
-
Proper snide cunts these. Every header and 50/50 they try the ol’ Harry Kane special.
-
Poor old second half this. I know we’re mostly keeping them in front of us. But we seem incapable of keeping hold of the ball.
-
I can’t get over Palmer’s Monk lid. What do you even ask for at the barbers? “Alright pal. I’ll have the Baldrick/medieval peasant style, please.”
-
Very very good. Just need to be a bit sharper and crisper in the final third. We’ll get more goals if so. So much space for us once we win the first ball.
-
We often try and force it and play passes and shots too early. Yet today we aren’t very crisp in the final third. Keep taking an extra touch and then picking the wrong option. Barnes in particular is guilty of this. The game was already wide open in the middle. Going to be even more so now. Get off. You cunt.
