  1. Should get us some of those fans who don't want their team to score goals. He thinks it's like golf where the lowest score wins ffs.

Does he not know how to shave properly?
  3. Four games into the season. Four. ANd i say that not in reference to where you are, but to highlight the STUPIDITY of giving a manager who has produced two years of relegation dodging with a new four year contract when he manages a decent run of FOUR games. Insanity. Aye, that's borderline retarded like. Fuck it man, if you don't laugh you'll cry.
  4. You have five times more points than us.

Lone strikers need people breaking from deep to support them though. I'm not convinced by him yet but when we're not giving him any support and not getting any decent numbers forward it's hard to judge him. One thing that stood out for me last night was that when Palace were breaking forward they had 5 or 6 players up there going for the box and supporting the attack. When we did the same we had maybe 3 if we were lucky.
  7. I think it's a safe assumption that he'd be Mbiwa's replacement. I was thinking of the rumours of Saylor to Palace. If that happens I can't see them letting MYM go. Colo, MYM and Alderweireld with Willo as backup is an improvement.
  8. Alderweireld in and fistpumps out would be decent assuming MYM stays.

This is the problem and it's the same problem Ben Arfa has when he plays. Imagine you're an opposition manager looking at this team sheet: Krul; Janmaat, Coloccini ©, Williamson, Haidara; Colback, Sissoko; Cabella, de Jong, Gouffran; Riviere The lack of creativity stands out like a sore thumb and makes us so easy to shut down. Stop our one creative player and our whole attack is castrated. First thing an opposing manager will do when faced with that is double up on Cabella and they can do it safe in the knowledge that there's nobody else in the team with the ability to exploit the extra space. Switch to this Krul; Janmaat, Coloccini ©, Williamson, Haidara; Colback, Sissoko; Cabella, HBA, Aarons; Riviere and it's a different prospect entirely. Double up on Cabella and who's going to pick up HBA? Double up on him and Aarons and Cabella will run riot. Just not enough fret in our starting line up at the moment and it's making us easy to nullify.
  10. Agree. At first when he was playing as more of a wide forward he looked ok. He was getting into good positions and scoring a few. He's gradually been dropped further and further back until he's now playing as an orthodox right midfielder and apart from having the ability to run he offers absolutely nothing in that role.
  11. We need Anita in there imo. I love him, I think he's a cracking player but you only really tend to notice what he does so well when he's not there (like today). He keeps it simple but keeps it moving, usually forward, and his natural movement means there's always an option on in midfield for a pass. He just kind of ties the whole thing together for me acting like a lynch-pin in the middle that we can rotate around. We do have a bit of a problem in that area in that neither Vurn, Sissoko or De Jong, who I consider our best 3 for the midfield with De Jong furthest forward behind the striker, are particularly creative and Riviere isn't mobile or creative enough to play the lone striker role and bring others into play. Every time I try and pick our best 11 I come to a 4-3-3 but struggle to find a place for De Jong (assuming we buy another creative CM). For me it'd be Vurn sitting deep with Sissoko as a box to box and our new creative CM at the tip of the midfield 3 and Perez up front with HBA and Cabella either side of him. De Jong can fill that role at the tip but it's not one he's particularly suited for. Could work if HBA and Cabella are given license to move into the centre depending on which area of the pitch play is moving in. If the ball's on the left then HBA move into the AM slot and Janmaat push on for width and vice versa with Cabella and Haidara if we're playing up the right.

There were a canny few saying he wasn't much cop and we'd overpaid for him when he signed. Haven't seen much to make me think they're wrong so far. He obviously needs to be given more time but so far Perez has looked much the brighter of our striker signings.
  14. MOJO CALLED ALL NEWCASTLE FANS DRUNK ANGRY MORONS! I HATE HIM SO MUCH I WISH HE WOULD DIE IN A FIRE! /Pardewthread
  15. Aye, football fan wanting his team to win. Fucking out of this world.
  16. Mackems would like us to lose and Pardew to stay. I would like us to win and Pardew to leave. Would you like some pictures mybe to make it a bit easier? I can use primary colours for you.
  17. You said "You can want Pardew out and still want Newcastle to win." How does that work? I have this thing in my head that allows me to hold more than one view on separate issues. I wanted Sunderland to lose and Di Canio to stay. Blowing your mind now, right? you mean exactly like the mackems would like us to lose and pardew to stay for eternity so they can keep beating us with embarrassing ease? ok then Exactly the opposite Fucking hell

  19. What has that got to do with you thinking we can win and Pardew still getting sacked? When did I say I think we can win and Pardew still get sacked?
  20. "An over emotional teen" He's talking shite again and you've fallen for it. If by 'falling for it' you mean i'm not seething into my ovaltine over a throwaway comment in an interview from a man who is known to talk shite then yes, i have.
  21. We conceded from a set-piece when we had 11 players behind the ball. It had absolutely nothing to do with pushing players forward. That will not compute, defending Pardew before thinking doesn't go well. Another who listens to the shit the manager comes out with and swallows it hook, line and sinker. Get tae fuck. I was calling Pardew for what he is a long time ago. You can act like an overemotional teen if you want to and pick over his every utterance in faux outrage. That's not for all of us unfortunately, we're not all as sensitive as you.
  22. You'll not be sure what he said wrong if you think a team who had no shots on target were unlucky to get beat. We got what we deserved from the Man City game, nowt. We played ok and should have scored one (Perez) if not two (Sissoko). I can't remember anyone fawning over the performance or "wanking over it" though. Riviere had a couple of very bad efforts as well that should have at least troubled the keeper.
  23. If you're thick enough to believe winning will see the back of Pardew then you're off your trolley, both will not happen. If you're overwhelmed by hatred of a man you've never met and never will meet enough that you equate him with the football club that represents your city then you're off your trolley.
  24. Nowt wrong with what he's said tbf. He's not blaming the crowd, he's saying everyone got caught up and started pushing forward for another one when the players should have kept their heads and kept it tight at the back. I actually expected him to blame the 7 minutes stoppage time someone pulled out of their arse.
