I do see your point, Hans. However, the written word, particularly on internet forums, tends to lose some of the nuance present in everyday conversation. There is a certain tone and inflection missing from these types of communication which can render them irritating to the uninitiated. It is a good idea, if you find a post irritating, to read it aloud to yourself and experience what the writer is attempting to communicate with the verbal tone and inflection that grant a great deal of meaning. Even if they made the group stages there's no way he'd get more exposure for his tat shop in those 6 games than in the PL. Neutral fans aren't going to tune in to watch Rangers unless they're up against one of the really big guns so that cuts it down even further.
