I like to think they drove him out past Hexham somewhere and set him free.

'polic crew sounds like a kangaroo disease

Shola Ameobi has left Newcastle...... for a long weekend in Arbroath. He's back on Monday to sign his new 6 year contract.

So MBiwa was cheating when bringing down Nasri? Can't believe we have a guy like him in our team. I don't recall the incident (I deed no see eet) but if he's intentioonally taken the man instead of the ball then yes, it's cheating. This is where you go all black and white on us and pretend you can't see any difference in magnitude ('cheating is cheating derp').
-
If it's an honest attempt to get the ball it's not cheating. It's not that hard.

In an ideal world no, but we don't live in one and won't. That's also why there are rules in football, why there are cards, so you can be punished. A tackle to break up a counter attack is also cheating then? Do we really want football where players can't come close to each other? It's all about taking advantage of the other team and beat them, and had Gyan scored no one would be talking about Suarez handball. He did what most intelligent players would do in that situation. That's my opinion. No, tackles are allowed in football, and a big part of the game. Don't see your point there. Yeah, tackles where you get the ball. Not tackles where you don't, otherwise there wouldn't be punishments for it. So my point is that a last ditch tackle, handball, breaking up counter attacks, wasitng time are all illegal parts of the game and cheating as well then. Yeah, tackles where a player intentionally takes out the player instead of the ball (see Solskjaer example) and intentional handball is cheating, that's correct. Time-wasting is more difficult to assess and I'm not sure what the rule book says tbh. So is fouling a player in basketball as you're preventing someone from scoring. Jesus, what type of football is this that you want the world to see? We're going to have to agree to disagree. Not necessarily. Cheating requires an intention to break the rules to gain an unfair advantage. You can foul without cheating.

Vurn, your time has come. Make that right wing spot yours.

We need a Pérezstroika like movement to rid Ayozelves of these terrible puns.

That's shocking.

Everyone looks like that standing next to that fat headed prick.

Fair enough for the first part. 2nd part, what game was that. 3rd part, again, it's not a South American mentality, this mentality exists within players in every league in Europe. Is Spain, Italy, Germany all South American as well? Cause I've seen as much cheating from non-SA players as I've seen from SA players. Nah, cheating spanish wannabes tbh
-
I can only speak for myself but I certainly wouldn't do that and I wouldn't want any of our players to do it either. I remember people rightly gave Shearer a bit of stick when he tried to dive once playing for England. I guess the south american mentality is a little different.

So Pardew's done a pretty good job to get that squad top half.
-
So it's cheating then.

He's 23 in september, not exactly a kid anymore. I don't think he's good enough or going to be good enough for this level.
-
Wherever it is I hope he tries a new restaurant and has a really bad meal.
-
Yup, one might say he's been Carr-strated. I never realised how many pad puns went on before that dog showed up Hopefully they're tailing off now.

I think it was pretty much nailed on before Sunderland did the great escape, with the contract situation you can understand why we'd be keen. He's okay technically from what I've seen, but lacks pace for a top club. I'm not sure where he'd fit into our side though. The Cabaye role obviously. Even Cabaye didn't fit into the Cabaye role he was given at our club. What was it exactly, the 3rd defensive midfielder after Tiote and Anita? Quarterback. Pinging long passes to the lone striker marked by two defenders doesn't work out so well in the English version of the game. It's the role he was given. Not my idea mate. He was initially signed to control possession and the tempo of a game iirc. Feed him the ball as much as possible and let him dictate play - that was the plan that was sold to Cabaye. I know you are quoting Pardew man, but I think when Cabaye was sold that vision of controlling the tempo of the game pinging long balls in the direction of Cisse wasn't what he had in mind I seem to recall Pardew saying "if you control the midfield you control the game" or something like that when signing Cabaye. Well done Alan. You passed the theory test but unfortunately killed 3 OAPs at a mini roundabout in the practical.

You would assume the agent hasn't just pulled 18 months out of his arse. Could easily be some clause that kicks in after 3 years or something.
-
We were shit in the 2nd half of the season due to playing in the Gozza cup.
-
I like to think we have higher standards than the mackems like. I don't give a fuck if they think he's a good player or not.

Guess is stuff isn't finalized with the player... ...or they want Tenerife to accept a transfer bid for the same value as the release clause instead of triggering the clause itself, thus avoiding the Spanish VAT tax So we've gone in with a wallet full of tenners and gone 'discount for cash, mate?'. We're so classy.
