Much more chance of knowing a rival through family, friends, workmates etc etc and families are more frequently split between red and blue. For me it's as much the fact that they show no will to improve or play anything approaching decent football. He's had quite a lot of money to spend and all he's done with it is bought big fellas who fit into his ugly football style. No ambition to play anything other than battering ram style hoofball, no ambition to do anything other than stay in the premiership, no ambition to develop the club at all.

That's good to hear. Seems we're getting quite a decent profile in France thanks to our french boys and the manner in which we've performed our business. He's just out of form and frustrated. The moment that stood out for me today was when the ball was played through to him in the middle, he took a bad touch and it bounced up off his knee and out of play. Before the new year he would have controlled that and rifled it into the bottom corner with his left foot. He'll get it back and the smiles will return but for now i'd rather have a striker who is pissed off and frustrated that he's playing shit than one who plays shit and doesn't give a crap.

Hate to bring negativity into what's been a great day but the lad just isn't good enough. Defensively he's just about acceptable for a mid table side, going forward he offers nothing. If we're going to progress I really think we either need to get a left back and move Santon over or buy another right back.
