Thought that was up there with one of our best performances of the season. Game in hand against a decent side & a bit of pressure on us. I fully expected an edgy game and close win... But that was brutal. Pressed really aggressively, sharp passing and ultra clinical. It did seem we had set up to get the ball forward more quickly to stop their fullbacks getting back in position.

I think we would have regardless. Although these sales this window would likely leave us in a position to take advantage of teams in a weaker PSR position? Getting rid of deadwood pre-summer helps. A lot of those who are deemed surplus to requirements often move towards the end of a window. It's a calculated risk from us, but I sort of understand it.

I was in L7 standing section yesterday & there was an attempt to get some chants going. I'd 100% have the away fans in L4 towards the East Stand. It'd help atmosphere immeasurably. You definately get the sense a fair proportion are 'out' for the day and the match is almost secondary.

He’s a conundrum. Against the better teams he’s typically brilliant. However against mid-lower half teams we miss a bit of craft in CM (especially at home)

I'm pretty sure Howe had mentioned that he spent time over at Rayo Vallecano watching Iraola's training methods before joining us. Even so, Newcastle's Howe is probably a better coach than Bournemouth's Howe. Both are fantastic managers in their own right.

We quite literally tried with the CB they bought? They'll purchase when they see fit at the right value. Unlike City we can't afford mistakes or overpaying. Summer often presents the best value.

Does it? We're losing a player who had limited minutes all season. We're a few weeks away from having a fully fit squad with the exception of Lascelles. We're in good form, in all competitions and vying for European football.

You would hope ours would drop a bit further with players out of contract at the end of the season as well?
