Nail on the head. I still to this day feel completely hoodwinked by their scheme and maintain I wouldn’t have packed in my Season Ticket if I didn’t think they’d at least lobby for me and let the club decide. Gutted to this day and pardon the pun, wouldn’t trust the Trust with anything. Jobs for the boys. No doubt that Charlotte will be next on the board.

Apologies if mentioned but did anyone see the floating tenner in the gallowgate -
Willock and Botman unreal. This is basically why I had little problem with the way Leeds played on Saturday. Sometimes you have to shithouse your way to points. Also, never seen a better Newcastle defensively - ever. Unreal.
-
He most definitely does not Love Miggy and he's been unreal this season, but I honestly think the he has an allergy to even controlling with his right.
-
Also a Football Manager legend. I do wonder if we will target players from countries that have commercial/marketing value, would make sense. Obviously not just completely shit players.
-
Either way, someone finishing 7th and getting in Europe's top competition because of how well they've done in the past is ridiculous, like.
-
So 6 in total? Or top 2 in the league + 2 historical?
-
I thought in future seasons Champions League places were going to be awarded on historical performance rather than current merit? Not sure the ins and outs but I'm sure something was mentioned. Ridiculous if it is.

Be wounded if we play them horrible bastards early again. The game in April was flat as out, as is the case with early kick offs (except derby day). would give my left bollock for a 17:30 and to watch Klopp squirm all game.
-
Yeah you're right. But it would be a positive change I think, if they can work out a way to do it. Loyalty points are the fairest way to allocate away tickets, but people who don't attend shouldn't get a point.
-
Good idea and will allow others to be able to build up their points too, rather than people hoarding.
-
Really want to do them bastards, and a 17:30 Saturday gives us the best chance. Will be devastated if it’s 12:30.

Maybe this particular member is linked to the TF lot. I'm not so sure, but he definitely gets a handful of tickets by hook or crook!

So I really don't want to get into slander territory here as I may be wrong, but chances are pretty slim. Basically, a lad I've known well for years through other mates then got to know myself - used to sit with him in fact - started going to more or less every away game last season. With my bitter, jealous head on 'eh how you wangled all these tickets!?'. He told me that he had got to know XXX this season, who on the board of NUFC trust who sorts him tickets as he gets them from being on the board. Now again, I could be well off here - maybe the lad himself has it wrong - but on the final day of the season at Burnley, I had it pretty much confirmed the night before (we stayed over) that this person gets a bunch of tickets for away games. This person happens to be on the board of the trust (or at least was, I'm not 100% now). For all I know, he could get them from work or something, but that would be pretty odd given the demand. Maybe this person just is well connected to a bunch of fans who have a load of points and don't use them, hence getting all the tickets, but the lad I know barely knows the board member, so would be strange dishing out tickets to people you barely know given the demand. I retract my previous FACT post, but it seems more likely than not.

No idea mate, I found this out towards the back end of last season.
-
Eurgh. Really pisses me off that the trust get a bunch of tickets for away games too - and I know that for a fact. No wonder they binned their loyalty point scheme. EDIT: I know for a fact that at least one board member of the trust gets a bunch of away tickets.

Ahh ffs, fuck you Elon. Apologies all, I just got done.

New Elche manager.

This is what makes me so uncomfortable with the Harry Maguire abuse to be honest. Let's be fair, it's been pretty much bullying. He's just another bloke like us who happens to be playing football professionally. He isn't a robot, just a human being who's not been performing his job at a high level. The line has been crossed with him in my opinion. I totally get that he's been largely shit for a while, but this era of being able to connect with footballers on social media is more of a curse than a blessing. I think I'd be in the minority of footballers and would not have social media if I was professional. I don't think Rodri does (may be wrong) and there will be others. It's probably a good thing if they're able to disconnect. Would love it if he had a belter World Cup and scores an important goal for England to send us through or something.

I can't lie, just being able to support Newcastle again and feel the energy in the city is probably my overwhelming emotion when it comes to this. Do I agree with what goes on in Saudi Arabia? Of course I don't. It's medieval, barbaric and frankly terrifying. Would I rather we were owned by somebody else? Definitely. I take my hat off to the lads protesting, but they really were pissing in the wind. Good on them for standing up for what they believe in - certainly more than I have done. I'm a fickle bastard who just wants to enjoy football for what it is, and I guess that that's how most of us feel. KSA owning us - directly or not - does make me a tad uncomfortable, but not enough for me not to enjoy what's happening now. There's a lot of good people involved in NUFC now, including AS (at face value anyway)/ That probably makes me a bastard but it is what it is. Like I say, I'm probably fickle and naive.

Didn't Howe say the set-pieces (short ones we'd scored from) were all Tindall's doing? Him and Ben White definitely sniff round Ocean Beach drinking daquiris and having snus, with plenty of Andy Gray/Richard Keys comments flying about.
-
Definitely don't think he's here to sit on the bench, given the price, but all of the top teams rotate (to a certain extent) and have different options for different opposition. We're maybe 1/2/3 seasons away from that luxury, but I assume Isak will be rotated in and out this season depending on the opposition. Murphy etc have done a job this season but eventually they'll be phased out and replaced with better players who are able to rotate in and out.

Which is exactly why I have not one bit of respect for them. Like you say, I completely accept the club's decision to not give them back, but the Trust led me along a merry path. Thomas seems absolutely sound to be honest, as did Graeme. He gave me his reasons for leaving and it just reiterates what most people think tbh.
-
Wonder if he’s invited by the club. Would love to know.

To those that may know…does Alex Hurst get to sit in the posh seats because he’s on the board of the Trust? Or is it his own ticket in the Platinum or something? Not having a pop, just curious.
