  1. Jesus! I get bored by about 2016 maxium, how do you do it? Teach me the ways.
  2. The thing for me with I'm always vary of 'foreigners'. It's all good signing Gervinho, Gameiro N'Zogbia and M'Bengue, don't get me wrong I'd love it, absolutely love that kind of pace and flair in a side. But I think it's also just as crucial securing Nolan and Barton. I'm not naive enough to think they can't be improved upon, and if they are first choice by May 2012, I suspect I'd feel underwhelmed. But these are two players who understand the passion of the English game, and really understand what this football club is all about. If we can secure these two and simultaneously improve the squad with flair then we have the makings of a very secure top half side who can't also challenge for Europe and a domestic trophy.

    Alan Pardew

Above anyone, I'd be more gutted if Colo left.
  4. To be fair, Stevie Wonder could have saw this coming. Can't pretend I'm not fucked off, would probably give it up if it wasn't for letting me Grandad down.
  5. I actually feel sorry for Campbell a bit. When he played against Chelsea he was very good IIRC and although he was shite in his most recent games, alot of that can be put down to lack of game time. He was unlucky that Williamson and Coloccini were good all season really. Will be a decent signing for a Championship side. Don't all lynch me at once .

    Joey Barton

Will fucking kill me watching Barton play for another team, the same it did with Carroll and will eventually with Enrique. I know players come and go, but with this bunch I had a real sense of pride, like it actually meant something to the lot of them. Ah well, back to square one I guess. Hope to fuck Mike, Pardew and Dekka have some good replacements lined up like.
  7. Looks like Barton's just had a blood test.
  8. Can't help but laugh at the Journal. Article number one; 'United in £10 million bid for Kevin Gameiro' which states a deal could be done also includes patter that Pardew is meeting Gervinho this week. Article number two, about Gosling, right at the end ; however, United are unlikely to sign target Kevin Gameiro. Eh?
  9. Seems the style of striker we need, but probably plays better with a partner. If we could get him and either a decent 'big man' or someone who will come deep to get the ball ala Rooney, it could work.
  10. Wouldn't actually be that bad if he was a replacement for either Kuqi or Lovenkrands (have accepted Shola is here for life) but knowing us, he'll probably be one of the 2 strikers we'll probably sign.
  11. I'm glad some of them are level headed enough to realise that the 5-1 will be remembered more than finish one bastard point above a promoted team ffs.
  12. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1654503543#!/profile.php?id=1654503543&sk=wall Is this Ben Arfa !? That Moyo has him tagged in a photo, probably fake like but....Ben Arfa!?
  13. Wouldn't take Bassong back as it seems he was one of the players who went on like Class A cunts after the relegation, whereas Charlie left because of JFK. We probably do need a centre half though. P.S Gervinho
  14. The one on the right is very 90s boy band.
  15. Definitely worth going for. Great player on his day, his absence against us and Fulham hurt them badly. Worth a look like. A longterm replacement for Nolan maybe. Thing is we're quite well off in midfield, especially with Gosling coming back into contention in Pre Season.
  16. When he got interviewed after their game at the Hawtorns like a week later he avoided the question like. I reckon he would come back.
  17. Agreed. Their shitness would make Colo look even better than what he is. But an improvement on Williamson and Taylor.
  18. Roger Johnson/Scott Dann would compliment Colo well I reckon.
  19. I like Simpson as a person and that but today he really annoyed me with his defending. Infact how the fuck were we 3-0 up and blow it? Cancels out Arsenal imo.
  20. It's not the point mate. Fair enough, they finished ahead of us, absolutely fair play. But does finishing ahead of a newly promoted club who has absolutely spanked you 5-1 constitute celebrating like you have won the Champions League? If we finished 19th and them 18th, they would still have a massive wankfest for months.
  21. Let them celebrate man, the more they celebrate the more it indicates the small club mentality that will hover around Sunderland forever. There is absolutely no question who has had a more sucessful season, especially when considering the expenditure and expectations. Next season we both start on a level pegging, and I will be very surprised if they are above us this time next May.
  22. Aye but probably paper talk. Let's face it, since relegation he's been fantastic, the best left back in my memory anyway. But regardless if how good he is, if he wants away there is really nothing we can do; as fans, as a club. His agent will have turned his head no doubt, because he has often spoke about how happy he is here etc. WHEN he goes, probably to Liverpool, I won't boo him but I won't appluad him either and I really hope he lives to regret it.
