Arteta could be in trouble come the end of the season.
-
poor Miggy. Still trying his best but he's even lost his pace now.
-
be tempted to give Lewis Hall a run in midfield in place of Longstaff. Just to see how good he is there.
-
normally one of his defenders and it's not his kind of game at all, but he's been very bad even taking that into consideration.
-
wonder if we'll sell Barnes now. That's pretty brutal from Howe.
-
you can see why he doesn't get minutes.
-
he's obviously not a 6, mind. Their goal, the pass before his goal and his goal itself all show he needs to play further forward like Bruno has been recently.
-
would swap Longstaff and Miley tbh.
-
lack of quality from Targett has been a big issue. Crossing used to be one of his things as well.
-
Kelly is worse than shit, sorry
-
pathetic from Miley

it’s so funny to watch. He’s clearly just in the team to take throw ins. They’ve even got him playing number 10 so that he’s as out of the way as possible when defending

Doubt playing in a Conte team helps him too much in that regard though?

Sounds like the fee will be €70-80m depending on whether Skriniar goes the other way or not. A relative bargain really, amazed Arsenal and Liverpool aren't all over it because he'd be a big upgrade for both of them.

just read in the last 9 attempts Villa have only made it past the 3rd round twice and those two times they got knocked out in the 4th round. Pretty bad that

Out of work nonsense
-
The last minute or so of match cam from the Arsenal game is just him saying goodbye to the fans, basically.
-
Rice?! Because he took some corners????
-
I dunno like, I have to agree with DE that Bruno is the king of manufacturing a foul. You don't get results like this without it. like, it's not even close to an astonishing degree
-
yeah, noticed that more than ever last night. He’s a natural leader and I think him coming into the team and finding his place is a big part of why the team looks more energetic and less stale. It’s a clear illustration of why we need to keep adding a player of similar quality each year if we’re to keep moving forward. I actually don’t think Tonali would suit the single pivot role in many other top teams tbh, but because of the way we play he’s invaluable there for us. He covers the full backs when he needs to and as you say has the pace to cover transitions so much better than Bruno ever did.

up to 1 in 4 only 3 weeks later, not bad. Think he can get a lot more goals if he gambles on the back post more often.
-
he's made Van Dijk and Saliba look sub-average this season. The mark of a player who isn't just world class but one of the best players in the world tbh.
