There were lots of people saying we should’ve signed him. The point being, do they still think there’s a player there. -

Anyone still regretting us not being in for Dele Alli in January and thinking there’s still a player in there? -

Any chance rectifying and putting the correct match date in the title- it’s doing my OCD no good whatsoever. -
The likes of Iniesta, Pirlo and Busquets were hardly Olympic sprinters by any stretch, but still rightly classed as world class midfield players. The first few yards are the most important, along with the thought of what to do following that initial move. Those players, along with Bruno, clearly have foresight and planning ahead of the ball coming to them. Technique also buys them time and space that pace alone doesn’t. Bruno is just fine.

Everton got a personal apology from the head Referee when Tory Frank complained. Wonder if the same will happen to us…
-
Two yellows in 4 minutes for Kenny. Lol

No pen after pitchside monitor review

Issues over physically being unable to remove the ‘3’, and Nike can’t provide new ‘plain’ shirts as it would be seen as a transaction and against the license to operate.
-
Can get 10/1 at a few places ?
-
Couldn’t have done anything else, could he, with the Barca finances at the time? He wasn’t allowed to play for free iirc, and they couldn’t afford to give him a contract. He’d never have gone to any other Spanish team.
-
Yeah, I can see him leaving this summer. Despite his goals this season, they won’t want him going into next season, plus the money he’s on. A new manager will want new players in, and I doubt who ever it is will want CR.
-
500k pw- he can get to fuck. We could pay the equivalent of 4 Brunos for that and improve the team no end, without the petulance that comes with him. We’re trying to create a decent team, not a team of (past it and over paid) individuals.

Kalvin Phillips/Bissouma, plus Rudiger and Diaby also linked. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10606183/Newcastle-interested-signing-Kalvin-Phillips-Antonio-Rudiger-summer.html

Hopefully stops him whinging about the handball for a minute.
-
Aye, because a top half finish is the limit of our owners ambition.
-
Aurelien Tchouameni? Not that we would be top of the list to sign him.
-
But that is immaterial as the business isn’t allowed to trade as normal.
-
Can you see that anytime soon? Won’t they continue whilst Putin is in Ukraine? I can’t see him withdrawing any time imminently.
-
The government haven’t- Barclays have, which is temporarily.
-
£400k pw is obviously a crazy amount of money, but Salah can look around the league and see Ronaldo on £500k, De Bruyne on £400k and think that he’s easily worth similar. Plus he’d make more if he left as a free agent. The issue is that £400k breaks Liverpools wage structure and they don’t want to set precedents.

Antony for me.

Fair enough. Substitute Fofana for any other DM player we’ve been linked with- there have been a fair few. The point being that we’re (still) looking to add that position and enable Bruno to play his natural game rather than making him sit too deep.
-
He plays more DM than anywhere else. https://www.footballcritic.com/seko-fofana/player-positions/48870

Wants £400k apparently.
