When do the players get released for the ACN, coz its only a 3 weeks tournament aint it? give em say 2 weeks prep and he's gone for 5 weeks. im sure some slubs ask for a late release of players aswell, so might be lookin at less. dont know much about senegal, but is he not like 3rd choice? if my thinking is right, he could miss 5 games, but if we get a late release we'll have him for QPR and if they dont make the final he will be back for Tottenham. so if were lucky could only miss 3 league games

Im feelin very hopeful on this one and think ba and HBA will both score in a 2-1 win. Dont normally feel confident going to man u, but this season things just seem different to any other for a long while now and if we start the game in the way we played the 2nd half against city (from what i've seen) i think we'll get a good result.

Just watched the spurs villa game and chris herd looks a good player, think he'd be a great addition here next summer. Plus three from that bosman list Maduro - Valencia Farfan - Schalke Hoillet - Blackburn Would be quality signings

Not to get too over excited by it at all, but didnt we give citeh a good run in both games last season and our squad is alot stronger and in better form than it was then and yes there's is in better form, but haven't improved as much as we have in the time between, there's no reason we cant give em a game (no im not saying we'll win, but really do think they struggle and find it hard to beat us)

Come on people, U try playing 500 odd minutes off football in 18 odd months as see how well you perform, his pre-season we missed up when he was just getting back into the swing of things and now he's coming back again. give him a F*****g chance. Pardew has done a good job with the rest of the team so far and im sure he'll get it right with him aswell, in the right game at the right time, Stoke most definately wasn't that. I cant see him throwing his toys out of the pram, he seems all smiles in training from what nufc show us and cabaye ran to him afer his goal against blackburn, plus in an earlier game there was pure delight on his face when we scored. we're winning games and he'll understand a not match fit player cant walk into a side 3rd in the prem after 10 games of the season.

will come good after the break, not eating of drinkin makes a huge difference. so the late games have done him no good, nice early one 2day and not playing the whole game helped. i still expect 15 odd goals from him

A dive to win a penalty during play is nothing like dropping to the ground after being slapped. The fact is Gervinho raised his hand to Barton. If Barton went down or not Gervinho had to be sent off. I'm not disputing that. I'm highlighting Barton's hypocrisy. How is it hypocrisy? Barton didn't cheat. Gervinho did hit Barton. Gervinho did dive during the game. Gervinho did the cheating. Barton got stamped on and then slapped. Maybe he went down to make sure the slap was noticed but it doesn't change the fact that he was slapped. There's a difference but they're not 2 entirely separate concepts. Barton's behaviour was entirely unnecessary just as Gervinho's was. Also, I'm not talking about the stamp whatsoever, and it had no bearing on the Gervinho incident. Had no bearin on it, u really believe that? if the officials had dealt with the stamp, joey would not of had to over act the slap just to make sure it was seen and dealt with. i dont condone it, but im pretty sure that was the case. song tried to wind him up with the stamp and joey wound up gervinho and won. didnt react himself and got the reaction he wanted

Just watch the press conference and pardew actually said "We hope to have some good news on him over the next few weeks. I don't know, i think it could be about 5-6 weeks", so this is not a set length of time, all depends on what he's done. i've done my ankle twice once it F*****g killed and was told 3 months out and was back in 3 weeks an the next time it didnt hurt to bad and i finished the match, but was then out for 3 months. so this could go either way. As newcasle fans i know its hard, but lets try not to get too depressed about it. Just remember he'll be like a new signin when he returns

dont wanna judge him too early, but im pretty impressed with a few things he has done in game. main example was against england u21's a while ago, He totally ran the show that night. not played alot for 2 years, but looks to have a good touch, plenty of skill and pace, end product can be coached along so could be a very good player for us and is a much need right winger as barton is not a winger. could see him playing wide of a front 3 when he plays and could do very well.

for some strange reason, i have full confidence in the club on this one, patience is the key for us. i think there will be a decent signing for us comin up before the window closes, whether it be erdinc or someone we've not even been linked with yet or maybe im juse deluded lol.
