Wait until you see this one for the next four months. As a representative of the "Manorparkians Group" I can tell you that you will not be seeing this Thread Title (unchanged) for the next four months. In fact I can formally announce that Takeover Day WILL BE on Monday 27th July 2020. (Remember, you read it here first . . ) Abit late to the party, but im joining this club. Roll on monday!!
-
The reasonable opinion will have to have some kind of factual backing, especially when it means 1 party loses a 17 million deposit.
-
I might have missed it, but can't believe noone has mentioned "like a new signing" when one of out many injured players were close to returning.
-
Ginola vs Ferencvaros is top for me, with honourable mentions for Ben Arfa vs Everton and Blackburn, Shearer vs Everton and Villa, Asprilla 3rd vs Barca and Cisse vs Chelsea (1st goal) and vs Swansea
-
Joe Cole for West Ham
-
Longstaff or Joelinton I think. unless Almiron gets a goal early on and then takes it up a level
-
On transfers Rafa Benitez said he wants to things quickly and the right way.. meanwhile Ashley delays things yet again and stops us from doing anything. Rafa might still sign.. but Ashley has took the piss again. I agree with this, I meant just on the Rafa staying front to be honest, which to me is 100% the most important signing this summer, so if it takes slightly longer then so be it. At a normal club he would have signed right after the last game and got straight to business strengthening the side over the summer, but this is Newcastle
-
For me the longer it goes on the better, I feel it just means they are sorting out the details of the deal. Whereas if it had all broken down we would hear pretty quickly or maybe im just being too optimistic
-
was reading that thinking hes out for a very long time and then realised he played on. That is beyond mental, hopefullly its nothing long lasting. A humming skull doesnt sound fun at all!
-
Surely we have someone better from a dead ball and must have a better option for that position.
-
Gone from 5th choice to 1st choice in such a short space of time, the pairing with Hayden works so well. Made me go from hoping Shelvey gets fit quickly to thinking he has no place in this system unless he massively changes his game. We have an absolute gem on our hands, keep it up young man
-
Massive fan of his shirt appearing to be at least a size too big. Looks like it would fit Rondon
-
when he fully clicks with Perez and Rondon, they are going to be so hard for teams to deal with. You can see with more games and more understanding of each other they'll carve a few teams open and score some great goals
-
Havent full read the ladst few pages, but im slightly more exciting about him than Almiron atm, seems to do everything very well so are and it will be good to see just how good he can be.
-
This guy is just soo good, not long back from injury and just slots back in seemlessly and looks just as good as he was before, new favourite player for me
-
from the little ive seen of him, im quite happy with this one. He's quite big for the postion, quick, decent crosser and isnt all left foot like many left back/wing backs seem to be. Has the attributes to be quite good in the prem
-
Lacked end product and looked like he tired quite badly, but they are both things that happen when you basically never play
-
Just what we needed
-
i used to like Ferdinand, but for taking in half of the information and then pumping it out on live TV makes him a cunt.
-
even if that story is real, i dont care how he gets the funds to buy the club, as long as once/if he has bought it he spends the money the club generates on making the club/team the best it can be
-
im also guessing that they're not going to use all the money in pot to but the club and then Kenyon struggle to run it the way he wants to.
-
This should be interesting, hopefully in a good way
-
Should have done alot more this window, but the 1 plus is I feel we are a stronger squad then this time last year. Banking 20mil from a window is a complete joke, just hope it's not the last straw for Rafa as he clearly wanted more.
-
Maybe Rafa thinks he can do a similar role to what Dirk Kuyt did for him at Liverpool
