He looked good last week but reverted back to his chaotic, fumbling performances that we’ve seen from him under Bruce. I have a bit of a personal gripe of how fast supporters seems to want to write young players off as shite or not good enough for the level but Sean is probably at a pivotal season for us this year.

Ryder seems to be making a think about Wilson and Darlow not getting an England call-up. I sort of see the Wilson argument with Ings injured and Greenwood having a poor start. He’s really stretching with Darlow. Selfishly, I’m not that arsed about Wilson not getting in. He’d be behind Kane, DCL, and Rashford and it’s just a massive injury risk for a player we have no capable backup of. I’d love to see a Newcastle player playing for England again mind.

I’m caught in that awkward place of hating the owner, manager and performances but thinking no credible or worthwhile takeover will ever happen if we aren’t in the Premier League. So I watch this absolutely shit football and just about get to a sort of pleased level when we win but despise a loss for all sorts of different reason while seeing no end to it. We’re supposed to follow this stuff for enjoyment ?

The footage they showed of Fraser in cm is him just ambling around worse than Shelvey, not closing down. ? I’m not suggesting he should have done better being thrown in like that rather it was an odd example of someone doing a job for the team.
