Can’t get my head around buying Gordon for £40m, potentially selling ASM then to bringing in Harvey Barnes. Seems like a backwards step. Give ASM another season as Gordon as understudy. We have Joelinton that’s arguably been better than both of them in that LW position too then use the money on someone top quality to play RW.

Harvey Barnes is one of those players that stat people love but he never passes the eye test. Over rated as fuck in my opinion. Worried we’re not seriously linked with any proper right wingers. I don’t see how we can continue to compete with Almiron and Murphy being the main two.

Yea, always liked him. He seems like a big game player too and usually stands out when he’s fit (from when I’ve seen him) - I guess that’s the issue though.

Absolutely not. Lascelles is limited but is aware of it and put some decent performances off the bench and where he had to step in last season. Maguire is a genuine calamity on massive wages who thinks he’s Maldini. I know it’s a never gonna happen hypothetical question but it’s a definite no from me.
